Cheap camera but app simply doesn’t work...
The overall camera comes with a lot of features and accessories considering how cheap it is, but if it doesn’t work what good is it? I have a new iPhone and when I download the app it gives you 1 option to connect to WiFi and when you click it says it can’t connect. Also the display screen on the camera itself really hurts my eyes almost makes you go cross eyed, not sure if my screen is broken or what. I’m wondering if all the reviews I read online were fake because of the reviews here. I’m pretty sure I just flushed $40 for this thing plus $25 for a 64 sd card. I’m gonna try connecting again through iPad but either way this isn’t at all user friendly.Show lessYupyupo
Why it stinks
So I have had theCamPark camera for a while but never used it. Decided today was the day. Tried to use the QR icon in the book to download the app for WiFi. Icon failed, ball one.
In order for the camera to work with your phone, you have to join the camera WiFi. This removes what ever WiFi connection you might use else where. Strike one.
Installed a memory card into the camera. Tells me it needs to format before I can take photos or video. Strike two.
Decide to go buy another memory card, so I try to use the app. Get the error that it
Needs local authorization. I installed the app, what more does it need. Oh wait, I denied the location service!!! If it won’t run with that turned off... Strike Three, You’re Out!!Show lessWarrloki
The app is useless
I was really excited to test out the app portion of my Campark camera. I thought it was really cool that I would be able to send files directly from the app that mirrors my camera to my phone.. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work in the slightest. The app connected to my camera for about 5 seconds before disconnecting. When I try to reconnect the message “connect over time! Please make sure connecting DVs network” flashes across the screen. No idea how to interpret that or how to fix it but after reading other similar reviews it doesn’t seem like something I can fix but rather a big flaw with the app.Show lessstuewer
Very difficult
It is very confusing how to make it work and all, but it does work for my camback go pro. It is very laggy and slow but once you save a video it is smooth.GiftedCashew56

WiFi is pointless in my camera now
Bought an underwater camera for my vacation thinking it would be cool to have the photos go strait to my phone, but this app is garbage. It won’t connect properly making the WIFI feature absolutely pointless, and I’ve even tried the other pro apps with the same issue. Good thing I can use memory cards instead.Show lessLana406

I love this app it is really good people who complain are just whining but it works well and easy maybe next time you can connect to the camera without connecting to the wifigodTBNR
Doesn't work, doesn't connect to camera at all
I keep getting "need location permission or can't connect to camera" message repeatedly, even when I have connected to camera Hotspot manually and given location permission (not sure why it requires location permission in the first place)thebrightshade
Stuck connected to home network
I accidentally chose my home WiFi network when running it the first time. Now it automatically connects and won’t let me connect to my camera. I even deleted and downloaded the app again and it still just connects to my home network and there is no way to change itCapfabulous
