this is a great app for parents however there is a glitch which means you can't read the Sittr's full biography/profile. when you press 'read more' it cuts off the text.Dayzleeper
Overall good
We had a last minute booking, so it was very helpful app for parent. I know to Babysitters it’s under paid, but for us parents we think it’s a bit expensive, and that’s why it hasn’t been a lot of traffic. When I first downloaded this Application, I immediately delete it due to the high price, there are a lot of babysitters willing to accept $20 or less / hour rate. Especially for kids who only require simple help and some night time watching after they sleeping. Maybe Sittr should reduce profit to get more customers. Or the babysitters should expect less than a full time job income, it’s more like a great opportunity whenever you have time to make additional income.Show lessJoyzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Great app, and easy way to find a sittr
Really easy to use, a pleasure to find great baby sitters.
Please can you fix an issue where there is a long bio of a sittr - it says 'read more' and tries to show the rest of the bio but it cuts off several lines so the additional lines can't be read.Mi7oo
Use of Sittr
I’ve been using this app for quite a few months now.
Initially I found the opportunities few and far between.
Since I’ve been accepted for jobs, and had a few more reviews done, the job opportunities just keep rolling in 👍💜😁
It would be nice if the sitters received a more wage appropriate amount.

I am in love with this app!
Getting a babysitter has never been made so easy! We have used this app several times and had the best babysitters ever! They have lots of experience and are professional. We are two working parents and recently ran out of sick leave to look after our daughter. We found a wonderful Carer at very short notice to help us look after our daughter at home. 10/10 recommend this app.Show lessClazjam

I am a Sittr. I have had many jobs. I have been paid for cancelled jobs and full pay for parents who have come home early. This service looks after BOTH parents and carers. My account was suspended when my first aid ran out. Was I upset ? No. It assured me this Company knows what they’re doing. Protecting families. I did have notice too so I renewed my certification and back on again for work. I know when I need my own Sittr, I will have 100% satisfaction in knowing the carer will have the utmost experience and qualifications to look after my children. Great job guys.Show lessmanamazza

After doing lots of research and looking at different agency’s, websites, groups and so on, Sittr is the first app I have found that was free for me to use and also provided the security I was wanting ensuring the care provided to my kids was through safe and reliable people with all the references and check needed to be confident.
I love being able to see the reviews from past family’s, and also see that they had a social media check also!

Sittr seems to be very much geared in favour of families. I have been using Sittr for almost three months now and have not been able to book a single job. It would be helpful if declined applications came with an explanation.clairejw

A very bad experience with Sittr for my wife. A highly rated and reviewed carer never rocked up after being hired for the job. BTW She is the most arrogant person I have ever spoken to. Money was deducted without confirming the service was rendered. Messaged support but no feedback more than 24 hours. No option to complain or review on the service. No telephone number to contact. Just can’t be any worse. Suggest App Store to seriously consider the rating review of this app. 4.6 star rating is not what it is. Never again!Show lessMartin Liuyu Shi

Hi Martin, we have spoken directly with your wife about this. Your booking was left unconfirmed until the last minute despite you posting the job days in advance. A carer did accept the job, but because you did not confirm the job, she assumed that you no longer needed her and accepted another job. Unfortunately if you leave it so long to confirm an applicant, they cannot guarantee that they are still available as they are in high demand, and may accept another job. When the carer confirmed that she couldn't attend, Sittr provided you with a full refund. We have live chat on the app and website which is serviced 24/7 by our customer support team. We usually respond within minutes and had you contacted us via the chat, we may have been able to assist you in real time.
