  • Still waiting

    Well been working with this company for about 3 months. Problem is there is not enough work for all the people they hire it’s nearly impossible for me to get more than one job a day in my area about a 90 mile radius even when I was willing to drive out of town my jobs were canceled the day prior for no apparent reason seems like they have favorites and delays on the job picking. I was told more work was to come to my area so far there hasn’t been one extra job added yet they keep training people ? Doesnt make sense.

  • Don’t waste your time

    This a poorly run business with horrible training. I went to do my first jyve along and was met by the rudest most disrespectful jyve guru. He barely was able to put any words together to form a sentence. Certainly he should not be representing anyone or being around customers. After driving more than an hour through LA traffic to get to the store 20+ miles away. This rude person was late and no where near the place I was told to meet them. When I finally found him sitting outside he was not wearing a jvye shirt or did he have the Id or lanyard I was told to look for. He said set down and open the app. Then after that he had trouble explaining anything or telling me what was to happen. He basically sat their dumb founded like he has never talked to humans before in his life. 10 minutes later after saying about 10 words he said rudely this won’t work you can go leave and go home. Thank you jyve for wasting my time and gasoline to be treated rudely by your supposed trainer. I don’t know how you train guru’s but Is obvious that you don’t care about your 1099 staff weather they are trained properly. Merely send them out to meet with rude wasteful people who should not work around any kind of customers. If I were looking for 1099 work with a good company I would stay away from this place. You can find a better app and better company than this place.

  • Bad experience, not worth the effort

    I've been on the app since Summer 2018 and have done a handful of Jyves. The app isn't helpful with notifying anyone of work that comes in, as in it does not notify at all.
    The geographic locations of work are limited beyond control of the user, so you don't get a say in where you work.
    The company uses a third party communication platform and they're unprofessional. The pay for staff is often delayed and gets lost. I personally can not remember any instance where I was paid on time or I didn't have to chase them down to find my pay.
    The management doesn't help staff and communication is almost as bad as with any other app-based business and company.

  • Great company to work for!!!

    I’ve been doing Jyve since the beginning of the year and it has been my gateway into the growing gig worker economy!!! I love that I can pick jobs that work around my family’s needs. I easily make 700+ every week! The community is great and so helpful! The training is amazing bc a lot of gig jobs don’t do hands on training like you are required to do before you can start claiming jobs. I can work solo or I can pair up with some of my favorite Jyvers and rock out the jobs. Can’t wait to see where this company is going to go and where it is going to take me. Best ad to ever come across my Facebook feed. Been a real game changer. I endorse Jyve 110%!!!
  • Poor communication and except the unexcept

    Jyve is a wonderful company to work around with your flexible schedule. However, I think it is not for you if you end up working more hours than the estimated hours (2-3 more hours) and unclaiming repeatedly for some reasons can deactivate your account. Even worse my account was deactivated due to a client complaint. What the? Those stores didn’t frankly communicate with me like letting me know what I did wrong and then I would correct something what I would do. I have no issues with other freelance businesses unlike this. I have a couple of achievements and got promoted in the past, does that make sense? Don’t apply for Jyve if you feel you may be in my shoe.

  • HORRIBLE COMPANY

    This is the worst company i have ever wasted my time working for, I don’t suggest you waste your time either. They don’t care about the people working for them, nor do they have the best interests of the people they “hire”. They use 3rd party companies who have no idea what they’re doing, no one gives a straight answer to questions or issues that arise and communication is deplorable. If you’re thinking of doing jyve, don’t, you will regret it. I don’t and will never recommend this company to anyone.

  • Great place to work!

    I have been working at Jyve (Less than a year)
    Pros
    Get to travel to different stores
    Get to help several customers
    Get to meet new employees and form a friendly relationship with them
    Cons
    Payrate depends on how quickly you can work
    Product rotation is necessary, but could slow things way down
    Advice to Management
    Create a site where employees can see a breakdown of each job worked and associated bonus, in order to better tie out paycheck.
  • Great App! 👍🏽

    This is a great app for people who are looking for a second job or a easy way to earn some extra bucks. It’s a way for company’s to get more employees to merchandise their product without all the hassle. The employees who are called Jyvers get to pick what “jyve” they want so you can easily schedule it around your day and you get paid every week.
  • Work when you want!

    Working for Jyve has been very rewarding in my area. I get a chance to visit new places and the staff are always so friendly! There management is very professional. It can be a lot of work, however, you get to set your own pace and there are opportunities to earn bonuses!
  • Great app and company!

    I’ll review the app first. It has come a long way from how it used to be and I see them developing more and more as the months pass. The app works fast, I haven’t had any issues.

    As for the company, as a single mom of 3, I love that you can pick where you work and when. It gives me the flexibility to still be with my children and make money. This company is going places and I intend to be there along for the ride and watch them expand.
