Crashing constantly
This app is in desperate need of an update.
No consistency, sketchy, crashy.
This app use to be fast and on point. Lately it’s been slow, laggy, crashes a lot, have t been getting notifications for items for sale. Opening my catalog I have to wait 10 minutes for it to load like a PS3 game or something lol. Scrolling through a list vinyl, cassettes etc for the press I’m looking for always skips back to the top WAY too often, pretty annoying but way more annoying when there’s 30 different pressing with minor variations and I loose my spot in the list because it skips back to the top or crashes randomly. The developers raise the percentage they take from each sale but app gets worse, go figure.

Great, but Wantlist Has Changed and App a Bit Buggy
I love this app and have been using it for about 10 years or so. Lately it seems to have gotten a bit buggy where it just crashes on me for no reason. It also loads my collection VERY slowly, which never seemed to be an issue in ethereal past.
Also, please bring back the old “wantlist” format!!
I loved that I would get a message notification within the app every evening showing what items on my list are newly listed for sale. Now I don’t get that since the wantlist format has changed and it’s so much more effort to find and search newly listed items from my wantlist. I used to buy quite a few items that would pop up in my nightly wantlist message but now that those has be stopped I don’t even bother going to the new “wantlist” website. It’s too troublesome.
Please bring back the old format or at least make a companion app called Discogs Wantlists that is integrated into the discogs app so I can access new listings in one click. I have heard fro. Other users who also miss the old wantlist messages we’d get on a daily basis,

Constantly logs me out.
It doesnt matter how many times i sign into the app, it logs me out every time i need to use it which is incredibly frustrating. I’ve basically just started using the website instead.
Unstable
Can you please work on fixing the issues with the app? The last few months have been really frustrating. Between the constant logging out and then having to re do all of your collection and want list preferences and the bug when the font on the Notes on a release starts to decrease until the app crashes, it’s getting to be a very annoying experience.

Very cool app but needs to be more fun to use
This is a great app for anyone who collects music but it would be cool if there was a feature where you could set which records you have loaned to friends because that would be really cool. I also think it would be cool if you could earn rewards for collecting more records to encourage people to buy more using the app. Overall this is the best music collection app I’ve ever used.

Weak search function within seller inventory
The Discogs app leaves much to be desired compared to the browser interface, especially in terms of its search options. This applies particularly to searches within a single seller’s inventory: there are only two filtering options, namely “All” or “In My Wantlist,” and there’s no filtering by price, format, genre, style, etc., all of which are options within a seller’s inventory search in the browser interface. Especially with sellers who have massive inventories, it is convenient to be able to do filtered searches not just by keywords, for example when looking for deals to add to an existing order before checkout. Adding more sophisticated search options within a seller’s inventory would improve the app.

Discogs Review
I think the app is great but I would like the option to share my discs with other viewers and also to view their discs perhaps with an option of buy swap sell rather than just sell. This option may be available but I just haven’t figured out how to work it.
How has this app become so bad???
Logs off every time I open it again.
Takes you off to safari to operate any of the seller parts of the app to edit / add/ remove inventory when it never used to do that.
Why is it that sellers now pay 9% and don’t even have a function iOS app. Running it off an iPhone 14 Pro Max , Please whoever deals with your app needs to have their job replaced by someone that understands app development.
The last person you had was obviously far more competent at doing a very simple job of giving users a stable app.

Can we get correct alphabetization?
I love this app but I think I have a legitimate gripe about how it sorts albums by artist names. This app is made for people who care about their record collections, and know the right way to alphabetize - band name or solo artist last name. But the Discogs app only organizes by the lazy digital rules that most self respecting collectors would never consider using - band name or artist first name. I don’t think this is a nitpick because of where is causes problems. For example, if I want to go through my records to make sure I have entered them all, the best way to do that is have my records and database sorted the same way, then fill in any holes where necessary. Instead, I can only look at my albums sorted correctly in my bins against them sorted incorrectly in the app. I see the bands in the right place, but have to manually search for any album by a person-named artist if your app can’t show it where it’s supposed to be.
