Better than the website!!
I purchased a record off Discogs a few years back and didn’t use the site again for some time. I recently returned to it and have found myself having fun cataloging my collection.
When I discovered there was an app, I downloaded it to try. I am in love with the effort the team is putting in to build the app!
It strikes me as a work in progress, but not because it NEEDS more development. Rather, I think Discogs is passionate about their service and wants to continue to improve it. Very happy I downloaded!

pointless app, discogs is dead
cant even create a new account, always says I cant have access to it and it had been restricted even if i sign up with a brand new account. so annoying, what’s the point of having an app if nobody can use it?
No improvement in stability…
Despite the recent “upgrade”, the stability issue has not improved - if anything, the app performance has got worse. It keeps crashing and/or logging me at out whim, and the content loading/syncing takes longer each time I have to log back in. Very disappointing given that Discogs recently increased its sales fee, AND added sales commission to postage costs….

Nice to have a database in my pocket!
I used to use Discogs about 10 years ago, and recently got back into buying vinyl. The app is new to me. It works well enough - could be a little more elegant in terms of its UX & design (some filtering options etc feel a bit clunky), but overall it does the job and it’s nice to be able to browse and add items to a watchlist.

Searching albums
When you search for an album and then select but it’s not what you want and you go back the search details clear which means you’ve got to type the artists details in again
Make an iPad version already
The app functions great and I use it all the time. However there is no iPad version. The large format of an iPad would be ideal for adding titles to Discogs. Can you please make a dedicated iPad app as the iPhone app doesn’t scale great on the iPad and wont work in landscape. Surly if Discographic can do it leaching from your site, then you could build something even better.

Fantastic App for the Physical Music Lovers
So many features.
But just being able to catalogue and value your collection is so good.
The barcode scanner works great.
Also great for insurance purposes if anything was to ever happen.

Latest update needs an update!
I love using Discogs and it has been a big help to me with regards to cataloging my collection and helping me when I’m shopping for records to make sure I don’t buy duplicates.
The latest app update has taken away one tool that has restricted my use of the app. After a certain amount of time, the app will log you out of Discogs where before you always remained logged in. So, whenever I’m shopping for records…I have to log in. I have logged in over 15,000 pieces of media…so it takes forever for my collection to load into the app. It is no longer the tool that was so helpful before. I wish there was an update that allowed users to remain logged in for convenience. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Doesn’t work
Please fix the app. It won’t open and just keeps telling me to update when I’m already on the newest version. Love it but please sort this!!!
Very useful but the search feature is weak
The app itself is very good and useful for record enthusiasts. The only real problems within the app arise when you are either 1. Searching through someone’s “for sale” section, and 2. When using “in my wantlist” filter on someone’s profile. The app just does not make it easy to find what you are looking for at all, the “in my wantlist” filter never seems to work and looking through someone’s for sale items is a struggle. If this could be fixed it would make the app five stars.
