Best roguelike for the iPad
Brings back so many memories of when I first downloaded nethack from a shareware bulletin board with a 4800bps modem over twenty five years ago.
A clear and concise user interface makes this a pleasure to play. The gameplay is exactly how it should be; difficult and frustrating, whilst being fun and rewarding. If you want something easy and mindless then play candy crush.

The Best Roguelike on iOS
Probably the best RPG too. Very intuitive for anyone who has only played roguelites, early bioware games, or dnd. The custom icons are pretty cool to use on your own characters. So many gameplay possibilities. My only gripe is it that its easy to accidentally move somewhere when you were trying to adjust the camera. I adapt to this by touching a safe spot before sliding the camera. Other than that, it is pure excellence.Show lessMistress Fannypack

A great roguelike
Wow. I have tried a lot of roguelikes from the app store and most either lack depth or a decent interface. This combines most of the depth of Nethack with great UI design for touch screens. Easy to play and learn thanks to the context sensitive help in game. The statistics and info given for each object in its "help" description levels nethacks learning curve.Show lessGiantmarc
Simply amazing

I grew up playing this nethack. It is actually one of my earliest childhood memories. I am so grateful that Callan made this app. A brilliant rouguelike based on nethack rules. So good but needs a guide
I absolutely love this game. It feels difficult to win and that feeling is incredible. I also played Nethack but this is 10 times better. But there are so many things that confuse me. If we get a guide, this will be even better.

Best rogue-like ever
By far the best and most genuine rogue-LIKE game on the app store. Constantly being updated and maintained. A bit of a learning curve for people new to this type of game but definitely recommend for a real rogue-like experience.Sklapsoaka
