  • Useful generally but sleep glitches

    This app is really helpful for know when you’ve fed and changed the baby, especially at first. As baby gets older the sleep function would be useful but it wants to put most sleeps as Naps - of you dont change it to “night sleep” quick enough it doesnt properly tally up the time so says you had 6 hours for example rather than 12. That’s frustrating as then patterns dont work

    Hello. I apologize for the delayed response. You can set the range for night sleep in the settings. Based on this setting, when you create a sleep record, it will automatically be categorized as night sleep. Also, if you press and hold the sleep record creation button, it will be created as night sleep regardless of this setting. I hope this helps, even if it's a bit late.
  • I wouldn’t get any sleep without the vacuum sound

    I almost never write reviews for anything, apps or otherwise. But every once in a while, something will wow me enough that I give it a go. The BabyTime app is one of those. Being able to log feedings, diapers, and other activities like bath time and tummy time helps my husband and I keep our sanity and allows us to talk about something other than when our sleep deprived selves last changed that diaper. It also helps us track our son’s growth and gives us data to take to the doctor (chronic constipation over here). I tried other apps like huckleberry, but BabyTime was the one that actually made things feel easier, rather than running me down with details. The app is also much simpler than other ones, so it’s easier to use. Also, the vacuum sound in the app calms my son nearly instantly. I have no idea how it works so well. The real vacuum cleaner can’t compare. My mother in law tells all her friends about it. Turn it on and he goes from a fussy crying machine to a sweet, sleeping baby in three minutes or less.

  • Actually perfect

    This app does everything you want it to do and more, and does it for free. I’ll be paying for the ad free version (and the ads are always super minimal and unobtrusive) to support the developers!

    This app is just about perfect! The widget and Apple Watch app are so well thought out just like the app itself! I love that my husband and I can both have it and add to our sons daily events! The fact that this app is free is such a blessing to our family!

  • Time setting does not reflect

    After update, the sleep statistics are divided into day and night. I have tried to change the night time and day time setting but it does not reflect in the app.
    Please fix this.

    There are two ways to calculate sleep time, and you can change it in the settings. Go to [Settings > Time Settings] and set the following settings as you want. - the range of a night's sleep - the method of statistical calculation for night sleep records *To briefly explain how to calculate sleep time, Method 1) The calculation is based on midnight (0 o'clock). (Default setting) => Calculate only the sleeping hours between 0:00 and 24:00. Ex) 11:30 last night ~ 5:00 this morning => Only 5 hours included. Ex) 11:00 tonight ~ 4:00 tomorrow morning => Includes only 1 hour. Method 2) It is a method of calculating sleep last night and early this morning as the time of the same day. => All night sleeps included in the night sleep range time are calculated on the same day. For example, tonight's night sleep may include late night sleep from yesterday and early evening sleep from today. Ex) 11:30 last night ~ 5:00 this morning => Includes all 5:30. Ex) 8:00~8:50 this evening => If included in the night sleep range, 50 minutes are included in tomorrow night's sleep. Ex) 8:00~8:50 this evening => If it is not included in the night sleep range, 30 minutes are included in today night sleep. *The above settings apply equally to sleep statistics graphs. *Please check if you saved your night sleep as a nap by mistake. If you have any further questions, please contact us at support@simfler.com.
  • Intuitive features. Simple and effective design

    I like how intuitive the features are in this app. Recoding and tallying activities made easy. I do miss how the Stats tab used to be presented although the new presentation style works fine. I would like to suggest improvements that allow keeping the activities separate for each kid. Currently my toddler has solid food and doesn’t bottle, while my baby still does.

  • Notifcations?

    I don’t get notified of recorded activity unless I open the app. I even have notifications turned on in settings. Otherwise I totally love all the options for recording activity and use this app with my care provider. The option to add pictures makes my whole day.
  • Absolute must have app!

    As first time parents this app has been so incredibly helpful way beyond just tracking what time baby eats, sleeps, and poops. We love that we can view stats to see how much he’s eating and sleeping on average in a 24 hour period. Being able to share and have multiple people (2 for free) sync data is great!

    We would pay a hefty monthly subscription for this app as it is that amazing…but it’s even better that it’s free!

  • Has been helpful but could be improved.

    Mostly I like this app and it’s very helpful in tracking baby’s feeds, sleep and more. My biggest annoyance is that despite having the default night sleep set from 7pm to 7am it constantly tries to save daytime naps as night sleep. It always tells me “this will be saved as night sleep” even if its the middle of the day and I haven’t selected night. I have to manually click “day”. It’s a pain but not enough to make me stop using the app.

    Hello I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We tried to reproduce the problem you mentioned, but it was not reproduced. Please check if the time of the phone has changed. (Roaming, Time Zone, etc.) We would appreciate it if you could simply write down the symptoms and capture the night sleep range setting screen and send it to support@simfler.com.
