Horrible
If you don’t turn your child’s phone off before the scheduled time is up, it reorganizes all their apps into alphabetical order. It also can’t track calls/texts. Don’t get this. Period.NotHere1981

Thanks for your review. The reordering of the user installed apps is a normal (not great) behaviour or iOS. We do mention this in our setup steps so sorry it wasn’t clear. We were never able to track calls and texts on iPhones. We only offer this on Android smartphones.Horrid app never install ever

Great app!!
This app is just what we needed for our preteen children that have phones. Whenever we have an issue with the app (which is rare), they get back to us right away to get the issue resolved. No complaints here!!These Kids all mine? 6!!
Wish Apple would allow this
Boomerang has been great and helpful in getting a refund. I wanted this app to work so bad, but with the restrictions Apple put on these things, it would not help keep my daughter off of things she was not allowed to be on. She was able to just delete the app. I bought my kids iPads and am now regretting this decision because I have no parental control. My 10 year old daughter hacks it constantly!Show lessTink1990
Terrible
It glitches so much, and when it glitches, it shuts down your whole phone, and you can’t do anything on it. I don’t like itmincus inc.
I’m Back!
About six months ago I left Boomerang in search of another parental control app. I really didn’t have a reason other than we upgraded devices and I figured I would look around. Needless to say, I couldn’t replicate was I had with Boomerang anywhere else. My children do not have Apple devices, so I can monitor SMS, set up geofencing, and allow some apps that don’t go against their allotted time and can be used outside of hours (important during virtual learning). This is normal behavior and we provide the user a heads up about this during app setup. When the scheduled time is up, we hide all user installed apps. If you wish to remove this protection, you will need to remove the Device Profile located under Settings > General > Device Profile. If you are a child leaving this review, your parent will be notified when the Device Profile is removed.Very fast responses to support
