Great but buggy

This app truly is one of the most helpful mental health apps out there. The fact that it’s not just a cbt journal or mood tracker or medication reminder or journal or period tracker or food diary, but all of those things for me, is amazing! The fact that even the free version gives you the functionality and flexibility to do all those things is what makes Moodfit my favorite out of all the competition.

However it is pretty buggy. I have a lot of issues where it freezes or does not refresh to the new day. I notice it tends to happen when I try to log my lunchtime meds at work where I have crappy service. The app freezes and even when I get home with my WiFi and hit the little refresh button in the app, the daily goals home page is not accurate and will not update. I usually have to sign out and sign back in to fix that. So, not the worst but definitely can be annoying. Especially since I have adhd, it’s hard for me to remember to remain consistent with things or I will forget to log things if I don’t log it right away.

I wish there was an option to log things and save them as a draft or something in the app, and then it can upload to the full log once there is a good enough connection.

Sorry to hear about the weird behavior. The app should seamlessly work from offline to online and sync properly when you have a connection. We'd appreciate if you could drop as a message to hello@getmoodfit.com so we can figure out what's going on and get your running smoothly again. Thank you.

Great Concept but Very Glitchy

As a psychologist, I really love the content on the app as well as all of the tools that are provided. Unfortunately, the app has problems with documenting whether you have met your daily goals. Eventually, the history of your goals appears to be mostly accurate. But, it will say I have met my daily goals when I haven’t, and it will not acknowledge that I have completed my goals when I have. I hope they are able to fix these problems because I like the content. It if the problems are not fixed by the time I will need to renew my subscription, I will not renew.

Thank you for letting us know. We are in the process of fixing the issue. A short term workaround is to select Refresh on the Home Screen. We appreciate your patience while we get this fixed. With our gratitude!

Super helpful

This app may not be the slickest one out there, but it’s full of evidence-based mental health tools that I find very helpful. The resources available here are truly empowering. I love that this collection of tools is all in one app. I also appreciate that this app gets a decent review on Mozilla’s Privacy Not Included website. And I love there’s an iPad app that syncs with the iPhone app.

I do have a few wishlist ideas that’d I’d love to see for this app that are more technical in nature, and related to the look and feel. The first I’d like is an adjustable text size or at least matching the system-wide text size I have selected, so I can read the text more easily. An overall design refresh to elevate the look would be a nice touch. Lastly, audio controls on the Lock Screen would be handy.

Amazing Evidence-based Interventions

As a nurse experiencing extreme burnout during the pandemic, I received a gift subscription through the American Nurses Foundation. It’s saved my sanity. It’s the only app I’ve found that uses multiple evidence-based interventions. I started using it & was continually impressed & surprised by it’s features, as is the Licensed Clinical Psychologist I go to for counseling. I love the reminders, I have them set to go off at different times during my workday to remind me to step back & breathe, remember positive affirmations, what makes me happy, etc. I highly recommend it! Thanks for providing it for nurses, it’s made a huge difference through difficult times.

Great App.

Great app but stuffs up sometimes.

Highly recommend!

Layering this app on top of weekly therapy took my c-ptsd regulation to a whole new level. I recommended it to my therapist!

So far, so good.

I just got this app last night, so I’m exploring. So far, I like it and probably will go to the prime version.

Okay, I just did go to the full version. I get a free week to test it out and the price afterwards is great. Cheaper than Weight Watchers, monthly, even better for a full year and I think that it will help me realize what makes me eat and drink, something that a weight loss program doesn’t do or doesn’t do well.

Life saving app

Fantastic, easy to use, full of relevant helpful advice. Has helped me learn how to pull myself out of a downward spiral. Thank you

Needs cycle category

This app would be greatly improved if it included a tool about the menstrual cycle. It doesn’t have to be complicated, and could be designed to fit into the app similarly to the other tools. But considering how menstruation affects mood/productivity/nutrition needs, etc, one would think such an important category would be included in this app. And let us remind ourselves that menstruation effects MANY people, regardless of gender. Please include this category, your users will thank you for it.

Great suggestion - thank you! This is on our list. Stay tuned.

Helpful for feeling empowered

I have been struggling with my mood as well as insomnia for 6-7 weeks and I read about this app in bphope the magazine focusing on information and support for people with bipolar disorder. I loved the app the first time I tried it and I love the positive effects I had from tracking my moods. I also am incredibly grateful for the positive things that are offered when my thinking is negative and suggestions for how to make my thinking more positive.
