If you like transformers then you will like the game. After all that's what the game is about "Transformers ". However since the game is about transformers why not spend a little of your hard earned $$ to get by our favourite bot? Well that spot the way this game works. From the bugs and randomness of the game you be other except it or move on. Bugs range from abilities bot working right to plain old bathing problems. Bots will wonder off or will attack walls. Better still is the commander setting a rush point and the bots totally ignore it. The bots "appear" when you get a crystal and pop it in tge space bridge. Well 1% of tge time you will get a bit you need. The others are duplicate or just some crap you already have. Free crystals give you more boosts than the usable stuff and the way the system works you are better off just not using them because they do not help in war. Some people will read this and say this person is way off but I played 3 years before I finally just gave it up adept this review. No more of my time or $$ on this game. The Game is really fun and mostly great in G1 ways. The low score is for not answering support questions sent from email to the developers and giving So many of the same duplicates. The probability is quite low of the same bot mathematically. Yet I’ve had so many duplicates of the same bots. Especially First Aid. More fairness in this respect would bring the game to a 4 out of five. With higher crystals, like four stars, if you have only a small amount of four star bots, the probability of a duplicate should be low. Yet it takes forever to get one and you still hand out a duplicate. Again not really fair game play. The game is geared towards paying players, it’s a business I get it, but people spend time on the game too. They should be rewarded for choosing it and being dedicated to something they love.Show lessAerman
Not bad, but not great
Growing up was a huge fan of the transformers so this game is great for the nostalgia. Artwork is great and they’ve given all the characters the right amount of freshness but kept the G1 feel. Some good game modes to keep you busy although I think they could’ve done more with the story modes but probably not enough money in it for them. Spend wise it’s not too bad offering different packs for those who want to spend big or not spend much at all. Where this game really fails is the gameplay. Weather it’s a bot/con wandering off solo in mid battle for no reason, chewing up chunks of time shooting/smashing a wall that doesn’t need to be destroyed, confusingly walking into hot zones and setting off outpost bots during war when a different path should’ve been taken, I could go on but the majority of time you lose in this game is from the shocking gameplay, and then there’s the theft that goes on in your inventory when things that you’ve never used go missing. Used to love it, but failed in recently months.
This game was always my top 5 favorites. Don’t get me wrong, this game used to be a enjoying, excellent action game. Recent months, the game didn’t seemed as great as it used to be. Too many crashes, too many bugs, and support isn’t really helpful. Drop rates increase, bot chances decreased, events aren’t really good anymore. Team events are becoming unsuccessful...solo events, same story. Not liking how the game turns more into like a casino...let’s play the slot machines ... spin the wheel and bid on your wallet. The game’s also rigged. Even though the developers won’t admit it. I guess SA doesn’t care about royalty towards anybody especially the players that played their game. Great game, needs a couple small changes
I have been playing for about 2 years. It is a lot of fun, but takes a LOT of work/ time to improve bots and bases. I wish you could level up a single bot instead of having a star rating. OR be able to sell lower level bots for at least building materials. I have a ton of 2 star bots that aren't worth putting any effort into now that I have 3/4 star bots. It is also true a 5 star bot is nearly impossible unless you make this game a full time job. I also wish that you could pick what bot to unlock after you have 20+ bots of a certain star level. Drop rates are tough and spending real money really only buys you a lotto ticket and nothing guaranteed. Even a p2p player would have to spend a LOT and get lucky to really get what they were looking for. If you are a p2p, do a big chunk up front in the beginning because duplicates are highly likely but do help in gearing up your bots. In general I love the game and the nostalgia and will keep playing for the foreseeable future!Show lessJtiypku
Unbalanced.
Two things you need, even from early on, to advance in this. Energon, and cyber coins. And no matter how active you are, they don’t allow you to gain either, unless you spend $. If you just wanted to play, and grind, which is what I did, at first, it would take you 3-4 months just you reach a solid level five base. A level five base, is a doormat, basically. It would take a year, to build a level seven base, which is still a doormat. This game is too tight/to chincy with rewards. They make growing/leveling up your bots WAY too expensive. Impossible to do it without spending $. It could be alot of fun, but it isn't.
UPDATE: Everything in this game revolves around ‘energon’, something you can’t buy, if you’re a spender, and something you can’t possibly earn enough of, if you’re a grinder. They’ve built it so that it’s impossible for anyone to get anywhere at all.
Last update: When we use crystals to summon ‘duplicate’ bots, you should let us combine them or something, not just make us rebuild the same bot from scratch all over again. Deleting this app.Show lessTiredOfThis...
Love the game so far, just one issue.
I’m relatively new to the game, so I’m not here to grumble about how hard it is to get some higher level transformer. I’m here about the robot cool down between battles. I think the fuel cell system is great, it recharges at a nice pace and I never use all of it. That being said, if that’s the energy system, why do I have to wait for my robots to ‘recharge’ before I can go into battle again. I just got my 2 star Optimus prime to level 20. When I go to look at the coo, downs, 3 of my guys have like a minute. I’m like, cool that’s tolerable. But then I take a look at Optimus and it says 6 minutes remaining. 6 minutes? For real? And this is just a two star. I sure hope I don’t have to wait half an hour at higher levels just for one battle.Show lessjujubozo
