Cooking recipes are NERFED
Along with many many other things I have read from long time players, the game they loved when it first came out has been ruined by updates. I’m a new player so I was searching youtube vids for cooking recipes. I didn’t notice they were from before these updates. Cooking recipes were shown to give good food and water values in the old videos (more than the sum of ingredients) but in reality the new updates make cooking pretty useless. Most recipes produce a food item that gives less than the sum of ingredients you put in. It makes more sense to cook and eat / drink the ingredients than combine them into a recipe. Granted there is a buff given for some recipes but they are underwhelming especially if you already have the perk associated with it. Since food and water are the most important resource, this is a bizarre change to make to the game. What’s the point? Just eliminate recipes altogether then! Even though this is a minor inconvenience, I deleted the game after hearing reviews and complaints from long-time players how the items they had spent months gathering became useless and the in-game costs of other items were increased sometimes 1000% (batteries). The overall sentiment is that the devs changed a beloved game that was interesting and had good depth into one that would be too hard to play unless you spend real money. Overall, the game evilved amazingly well over the years. A lot of the past issues that I had with the game have been solved in a great way, making it one of the best app game I’ve seen. The only complain I have are raids, they are way, WAY too difficult for generally terrible rewards. Most of the time it is basic items that you can find on the map easily, yet you have to go through a fight that is even more difficult than a boss battle. Either up the rewards or tone down the difficulties of the raid, because outside of UFA hives (but good luck killing mother bees) it is straigh up pointless.Show lessdhdhjdjshhs

You can softlock at the start via accidentally leaving the town and getting the torch making the device permanently unable to play, as I have enjoyed it on other devices in the past I rate it 4 stars but this is stupidZbzcq

Been playing for just a day and have honestly loved the gameplay the dialog isn’t too much and you can do what ever you want more then just storyline I do wish you could repair guns as I drain my guns durability fast but other then that there’s a bug with the camera movement, sometimes when you drag the screen to go a certain way it drags you to the opposite direction but not too much of a worry. I would love it if you updated the pet menu so I can have a better view of the stats instead of just crammed together. Overall great game could be better but love it so far.Show lessJackchrome

My last review was less detailed but basically amazing game seriously one of the best in the App Store , two things I want however I’m kinda tired if heading to settlements where you can craft a specific weapon only there , you could make that easier to do whilst not at that settlement ( can’t wait to make moonshine at level 55 )Show lessjezza?

This is overall a great game, the only people who don't like it are mostly people who don't like Loot gatherers or grinding games
But this game has done well the story line is great iff you follow along buttttt 2 things 1, maybe add more ways to lower your radiation early game? And 2 every time I go into a. Village I get a notification saying "runtime error attempted to run a nil value" so yeah it says that then my game crashesShow lesskenf.khdzfhg

I was battling two cockroaches with my pet wolf. My wolf died and I almost did too the combat also has very little skill involved. The weapons are also way too fragile my knife broke after two battles and my pistol after one. And finally I feel like food and water should be scarcer I’m finding loads of it but can’t even carry half of what I find due to this the food and water system is more of an annoyance than a good mechanicShow lesshrh2327

Don’t get me wrong I love the game, been playing it since the original version and it’s come a long way and has gotten very good. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on the game by my own choice to make things easier, but the recent update (which was awhile ago) they nerfed a lot of things, the crossbows were very good and a cheap and efficient way to fight but now they are pointless, all the enemies have 200+ health and the cross bow only does 45-65 now. The enemies used to be balanced and not op (got harder the further you got) but now if I backtrack to the starting areas I’m still fighting 200+ hp bandits. I with they leveled the weapon damage and leveled the difficulty of bandits, everything else is fine, combat with animals and things that aren’t human is great but the people are a little too strong and I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did if I didn’t spend a lot of money on the game. If you’re willing to spend money then you’ll be ok and not have that much of a problem but for people who play the game and grind for everything they get it’s a lot harder.Show lesstrx110993
