Looses connection
Although the app itself is pretty good i continuously loose connection and have to pull the wifi module out of the outside unit and put it back in. Its not the wifi range as it can connect to my phone far beyond where the unit is outside. I sometimes have to redo the whole unit on my app to get it to work again.

App needs a good instruction manual.
It needs a switch to turn different programs on and off. There may be one but it isn’t obvious. I have been going into each program and turning off the days it runs. Awkward.
Activity log and water all
It would be helpful to have a log of activity maybe 30 days worth in case you miss a notification You cannot water all stations from the app like you can from the controller You have to start each station one at a time Update notifications still not working all the time They worked on Monday but not on Friday Update 2 Thank you for the reply but neither the controller or the app have programs (A B C D) It is an ST 8 WiFi The point is that the controller has a button labeled Water Now which allows a manual run of all stations in order The iPhone app does not have that function From the app you have to start each zone individually This is a feature request to add that functionality Also in your reply you asked that I provide more information so you can assist further suggesting that I "click the email link" What email link? I could not find one in the review or in the email I received from Apple with your response The email was from an Apple no reply address If you are still willing to help with the notifications issue please provide an email or other contact for me to use Thanks

1. Thank you for letting us know you are using an ST-8. You are correct. This is zone based controller, meaning each zone has its own program. The app can start manual irrigation by zone or by program, but in this case it is the same thing. We have on our list a feature which will 'Start All' as programmed or as determined at the time. 2. Date not updating
The date won’t update and this is causing the zones to activate on the wrong days. I have to manually update the day every day.
Won’t keep program
Won’t keep time and schedule, always have to re program. Very disappointed.
Could easily be improved
App is extremely slow to load, despite having very high speed internet. In addition to improving loading speed, it would also be very helpful if the app allowed us to store pictures and associate to each zone. A couple of thumbnails per zone would suffice. Adding a countdown (watering time remaining) in my older Rain Bird module would also be helpful. All this would boost you to five stars.

Must have, easy to program and not need to go back and forth to the panel, I should have bought it earlier.
Versatile
I love this versatile app. I have six zones and new sod. I love that I can keep my sod watered without drowning my gardens.
When it works.
Very poor system. It works 2 out 10 times. There is no other system if you use rainbird. So you are kinda stuck with a mediocre system. When it works its great.
Rainbird ST8
Have not had any issues. For anyone trying to change to Celsius from Fahrenheit you need to do this on controller selection screen. When you first open app and see your controller click the settings icon in top left corner before selecting the controller.👍🏼
