Don’t waste your time filling it all out. It doesn’t send the email. Waste of time 🤬

Over priced and not honest

Tried to do my first “free” event to see how it worked, got my event all set up and information put in, to be told I couldn’t use the text message feature. Then when I went to send it off via e-mail it still wouldn’t go, I had to buy the full version of the app for $5.50.

I'd like to clarify… for a single event with up to 6 people, notifying guests by email, the app is completely free. In the app store listing, it says that sending by SMS requires an In-App-Purchase. Also, if you're lucky enough to have more than 6 guests the IAP also unlocks that. Cheers, Ash

Not so secret

When emailing the secret Santa I was included into every email so know exactly who had who and then when texting the text was sent from my number and inbox so once again I could see exactly who had who!

The app asks if you want to receive a copy of each email, and you chose "yes". If you don't want to know how has who, the work-around is to just not read the emails! Cheers, Ash

Paid £3.99 as had 7 people and the free app
Only supports 6, would not send any e mails and after reporting the problem no
Response!!

So much for “free” trial

The app says you can create one free event. But what’s the point of creating one free event if you can’t complete the event by sending the results by email or text for that event? So basically you waste your time to try a free event and either pay over $5 for the “free” event or go back to drawing out paper names.

I'm sorry you're not happy with the app, but I just want to clarify… for a single event with up to 6 people, notifiying guests by email, the app is completely free. It sounds like you were had problems getting email to work. If so, please contact me at littlehelper@secretsantas.gifts and I'll do my best to resolve your problem. If you want to have more than 6 people in your event, create multiple events, send by SMS, or print the invites, then there is the option to unlock the app. Of course, as you say, there's also the free option to draw names out of a hat. Great App

This is the best Secret Santa app out there. Successfully used it last year. This year I had a couple of issues due to changing my Apple ID. Ash was very responsive to my query and fixed the issue in a new version. Great app. Great support. Thanks.
