Great app, impressive gimble for the price
Lots of impressive features and custom fine tuning options. I would like to see the panoramic option work so that when I upload to Facebook it recognizes the panoramic pic as such so I can move my phone to move the view as opposed to pinching and moving with my finger.

Temperature issue
The app has some nice features but overall it's pretty bad. I would get into details but my main concern is what the app does to your phone. I started at 100% battery and after five minutes I was down to 71%. What really concerns me is the heat issue. My phone heats up within a minute or two and is noticeably hot. I would imagine that if left on like this it would shutdown from overheating. Needs some fixing. Hope they improve these problems.Show lessMissing WDW
Exicited for the future of handheld gimbals! Add more features!
Just upgraded my old beholder gimbal to the crane V2. It is a great piece of equipment and this app is a great addition to the functionality. It was a bit tricky to figure out how to update firmware on the computer and get the camera to talk to the gimbal with the camera connection cable. It would be nice if there were some better instructional how to tutorials within the app.
What really sold me on the crane was the ability to program motion time-lapses and key-framed movements. The app needs some improvements in this area: please add the ability to save the key frames so that you can repeat the same camera movement/ timelapse more than once. Also, the user interface for entering shutter time and timelapse duration is confusing and I can’t figure out if there is a way to tell how many exposures the camera will ultimately take throughout the course of the timelapse.
A couple of other simple features I would love to see added to the App:
1. the 3x3 grid capture is great, but what about adding a larger grid to capture “gigapixel” images? (Maybe with a calculation based on focal length?)
2. A “360 grid”to create 360 spherical images for stitching into a 360 degree sphere (also with a focal length calculation)
3. In joystick mode- a slider to adjust the speed of the joystick for slower or faster movement precisionShow lessDivineearth
Lacking proper support for iPhone X
Apparently added support for iPhone X over a month ago, and yet you can’t even record in 4K @ 60fps. Seriously? How hard is it to add a single line of code to enable something natively supported by the phone! Come on guys!Luke.the.reviewer.aus
No sound!!
Just got my gimbal and everything is good other than static sound when I play back my video. Can’t find a fix for it.JusitnNelson
Needs improvement
My iPhone 10 gets really warm when recording with this app. Apparently, since the most recent update, the record button no longer works. Unless I’m missing something. Last but not least, the ghosted put icons need to be brighter as they are difficult to see or appear inactive.daniel4510
Key features when paired to the Smooth Q don’t work
I got a Smooth Q to shoot more video with my iPhone 7 Plus. Really quick set up for the Gimbal, but the app has a few shortcomings. First it doesn’t seem to take advantage of the dual cameras. Second the zoom function when paired with the app switches from rear to front camera and only zooms the front camera. Third the subject/object tracking will not work. It always says it has failed and to try again. Really frustrating as this is a great feature in theory.
All-in-all the app doesn’t really improve upon the default camera app as few of the features it adds to the Smooth Q actually work. I really hope they fix it in future updates.Show lessAstationzero
Needs 360 panorama!

Lots of potential, shame it's buggy
Loved using this app with my Zhiyun Smooth 3 on iPhone 7 plus ios 10.3.3. When it's working it's great as the Bluetooth connection with the device is excellent. And features are also really good. However, have been finding many bugs. Sometimes after taking a nice, long video the app would fail to save the footage. Randomly the app would continuously crash on opening making accessing my videos impossible. By fault of my own I decided to try deleting the app and reinstalling, forgetting that would also delete all the videos which had not been saved to my camera roll. All in all - in the 4 days of trying to use the app would recommend staying away until they iron out the issues as you may find like me you lose a lot of valuable footage. I gave this 2 stars rather than just one due to the potential this app has. Get rid of the bugs, save the videos I take every single time and it will get 5 starsShow lessPetros Solomou
Doesn't default save to Apple Photos default app
The app in general works fine BUT it doesn't save to iPhone default Photos app and instead it saves in the ZY Play app. I lost half of my entire Asia trip footage because the app stopped working in the middle of the trip and I deleted the app and reinstall it. Little did I realize a little too late is, all that footage is gone too!!! I almost burst into tears! So be aware and save as often as possible!!!Show lessMoshij
