App crashes all the time and camera won’t send pictures even though it shows that it has a strong signal.
Annoying bugs
Cool concept but there are a lot of annoying bugs. Some we have reported over a year ago and they still go unfixed.
Notifications
Need to fix for the notifications it sends them when they want to and not always it’s very aggravating.
App needs complete make over
The picture quality is amazing but the app is terrible and needs a complete make over. The app also keeps wanting me to give it access to my photos which is very annoying . I like the way the reveal app works better.
Bad
The app is awful and the cellular transmission end of these cameras is terrible. I saw all the reviews but already had the cameras in hand so i figured I’d give it a shot. Well the reviews are definitely right. Camera stopped sending me pictures and after checking the SD card there were many pictures it never sent. Get a tactacam and be done.

Terrible app
Cameras take good pictures but the app is awful. I have bought 2 other cellular cameras over covert solely due to the app. It’s very laggy and doesn’t always work. If you scroll through your pictures it will click on pictures randomly. Save yourself some frustration and buy a tactacam.
Need photo filtering options
The app has a feature where you can like a photo, however the only way to find that photo after you’ve liked it, is to scroll through sometimes hundreds of photos. The app creator needs to add a filter button where you could view only liked photos, or from a certain date range. This would make the app 100x better. Covert-take this advice and make it better!

Needs work
I have to turn my phone to landscape mode to use the back arrows. A little frustrating! 10 months since last update….. seems to me your lacking in the app development.
Annoying App
I’ve used other trail cams and there apps and I find the covert wireless to be the least polished. On top of that, it won’t stop asking me for permission to my photos. Ask me once, that’s fine. But if I say no then don’t keep asking me. That isn’t even a necessary function to use this product. The primary function of this is to let me see pictures via the app that the trail cam has taken. That does not require me to give permission to view my photos on my phone, yet the app won’t stop taking me to the setting to allow access. It’s very annoying. I wouldn’t buy another one solely based on this.

App is horrible now…
I bought 5 cameras after being really happy with the older app. Now the app updates are terrible. Notification issues. Navigation issues. It’s just a giant mess. Planning on selling all my cameras at the end of the year and switching to a company that actually understands how to develop mobile apps. It’s been a YEAR since they updated this all. That’s unreal.
