Very Disappointing
Having spent thousands on supposedly the best thermal scope you can buy, am very disappointed with this App and Pulsar product.
As the other reviews state it’s just completely unusable, it connects then just disconnects continuously, then loses connection, resulting in the need to restart scope and app, have tried for hours to get the Stream function to work without success.
Emailed support but had no feed back.
Maybe look at other makes and see if they work before you spend your hard earned money..

This app is so frustrating. It refuses to connect to my Trail XP50 unless I’m in airplane mode. I’ve also found that I can just disable cell signal instead of having to use airplane mode. I haven’t been able to successfully save to my phone or even view videos saved on my Trail. When I try to save a video to my phone, it just shows up in my camera roll as a blank video that won’t play. Videos will actually play within the app, but the time elapsed and remaining doesn’t work, there is no marker that shows how much video is remaining, and you can only pause—you can’t jump ahead—you have to watch the whoooole thing to see something at the end of the video. For such a wonderful and advanced scope, this app is absolutely just awful. Please, PLEASE fix this app!Show lessFlextheJuvat
Most reliable device app I have tested
I sell digital night vision and thermal devices, of the different products I sell, StreamVision is by far the smoothest and most reliable. I run demos at shows 8-9 hours at a time with outstanding performance.FoxOptic
Very fragile
When they work, functions are good. My friend and I work as a team with him doing the spotting through the imager and me doing settings adjustments, zooming and photo/video on the iphone (8+)
So far so good.
However the connection between imager and phone fails frequently, requiring resets in the field. And downloading large videos at home does not work, again because of the connection failing.Show lessRichardAllen
Buggy and missing features
Sound does not function in the app.
You cannot do anything with the files to edit, save or transfer using the app.
The share button crashes the app.
Transfers don’t work without the internet.
Still have to plug the scope in to download, edit and share video, so the app I almost useless.Tx51210real
iPhone X & Sightmark Photon RT
I am using an IPhone X and it does not fit the screen the cut out for the camera and speaker gets in the way
The app connects to my Sightmark Photon RT very easily and it will control my scope as advertised. It will also allow me to watch videos but it has no audio and will not let me save them to my photo album or send them as a text message.Show lessYukon806936
Features great if they'd work
Using iPhone 6 & iPhone 7
I can connect
I was able to firmware update
I am unable download videos from the device
It disconnects the device and the download is aborted
Furthermore the video files seem incompatible with iPhone and require conversion to be played with native apple apps
Using VLC for mobile the vidoes can be viewed on iPhone
I'm looking forward to the ballistic calculator that the app promises in future versions
I recommend to change the wifi function to allow connection to a wifi network rather than just ad hoc connections .
iPhone seems unable to download and install firmware in one go when connecting to the device . So one has to download the firmware first and then connect to the device .
If the device can join a wifi network this would be easier I think.
I believe the auto shutdown may interfere when connecting with USB cable to the device . Not sure if that also applies to the connection with iPhone.Show lessdontnickme

I've used this for a review. The majority of the functions work, but some do not.
Sharing doesn't work for email or txt, you end up with a blank email or txt.
You can't skip along the video, just pause and play.
You can't download to the photo album, it only stays on the app. This is a problem for me.
You can plug in the USB to the computer, and it will show as mass storage.
I have emailed developers of this, so I hope for an update to sort these issues out.
It does work well and is easy to use, but some important issues need fixing first. Once these are sorted I'll give a full 5*Show less617BC
