Utter disappointment
I am very much disappointed with Vampr because of the fact that every single time that I have attempted to upload a song for distribution, it has been rejected. I have followed all the prompts for uploading it and was given an error message every time. Up until the recent one where they informed me that there was a blank audio tail. After I re edited it and removed the blank audio tail, i can’t even get the track to upload. Not to worry though, other platforms have accepted the song the first time I uploaded it, without any problems. In my opinion Vampr is a joke. None of the search parameters work for me to be able to find the kind musicians that I’m looking for. And I can’t even get a “Vamp” to upload. I’m looking for a more reliable social media app for musicians.

App is ok, Its broken more than it works though
When i first started using this app, It was great, easy to use and simple.
Ive started to distribute my music through it and the loops they make you jump through is insane.
For example i have released a single, which was approved, And i now want to release my EP which includes the single but i have to provide photo proof i own it even though i have released it through them already??
Not to mention the stupid things they deny it for like You cannot put EP on the album cover or the track cannot be called Remix, or alternative.
It is just ridiculous the hoops they make you jump through and it makes the whole process more frustrating than exciting.
Im going to go to a different distributor.

Let’s be real here there’s no need for 18+ to be matching with those under 18
I’ve had this app advertised to me so I thought it would be cool to download considering I’m a guitarist and I’m recently single. I download the app and create a profile and I go to look at the first person that pop up and she was 16 years old, I’m 29. There is absolutely no need for the default settings of somebody over the age of 18 to be preset to match with those who are under 18. I checked and my range was 13-60!? Like come on, at least have some common sense and limit this app to those who are in an appropriate range. I’d hope because this is a small company that there has been no harm done by this, but there’s a chance that there has been harm done. So please make it so 18+ sticks with 18+ and those under 18 shouldnt be allowed, but at least make a kids experience

Can’t log in?
I couldn’t log in before due to a system glitch, the customer service were very helpful via email and they resolved my problem quickly letting me log back into my account
Doesn’t work
Bring back low star reviews for stuff that doesn’t work. Not only does this app not work for finding musicians it doesn’t work on a basic design level.
This app is constantly opening things and and even taking me out of the app. This app has made me aware that touch sensitivity might be a thing that app developers program manually. The amount of times it has opened a link in Safari almost makes me wonder if I’m even touching anything to trigger it or if the app is just randomly doing it. Anyhow it makes it very frustrating to operate the app.
Nothing comes of posting on this app. This app is not optimized for finding like-minded artists. The goal is to make a quick buck using the same business model as dating apps. If Vampr was really interested in connecting musicians this app would look more like a phone book than Tinder.
The app is filled with all sorts of clutter that is meant to give them money but it seems incompetent like it can’t make them much.
When making a profile on this app it almost seems like they are determined to prevent you from sharing the pertinent information about your project.

Good but a very annoying glitch
I like this app but I’m a little angry right now. The app shows so much potential and is so far better then a lot of apps like this. For a while I made no connects with any of the other artist but finally recently I’ve started to connect with a bunch. I check Vampr this morning and my whole account was erased. I logged back in but I lost my connects I made and now I have to reconnect and further more all the details I have add to my account is gone.
