  • This app is a joke

    Sorry, Goldcar, but your iOS app is broken and poorly designed. It won’t let me log in and keeps displaying strange error messages, claiming there’s no internet connection. Nothing works. 😩

  • Gold car Key n Go is spot on the app needs work!

    No issues ever with gold car Key n Go pay the price and that's that! Cars are great and I'm out with a car in 2 minutes after uploading my details prior to flying.

    The apps extremely buggy. I'm never able to log into my client zone I end up resorting back to Web page. If the app were fully de bugged and tested the review would be 5*

    Gold car please offer more premium/sport cars in the future.

  • Uncertainty of not knowing if the booking has gone through.

    I give up on Goldcar. An uncomfortable process of have I booked or haven’t I. Very poor. Lost count of the number of times I thought I’d paid to only wait and be left wondering if it’s booked or not. Saves credit cards but when going to pay with saved card it says that the card number is wrong. Doesn’t remember all clients data such as over 25 or have I got younger! To many faults to mention just very very very very poor.

  • App not working and has no proper IT support

    I notice reviews are historic about this app. I cannot access my account using the app and sent a few emails to the customer service team and got the same response - change your password! It still doesn’t work …. App needs proper IT support and when you click on the help button it shows the bookings page !! Poor show Goldcar as you need to listen to your customers. App only shows spinning wheel and doesn’t load people’s account details ⚠️‼️🆘

  • App not working

    It is difficult using the app it has stop working, in my case, for some time now. Previously the app not always showing booking or updating my rental accordingly
    Screen blank after starting the app for fee month now and no changes

    I notice the app is 4 years old without up date it may says it all
  • App really needs proper testing

    This isn’t a great app. Frequently buttons don’t do what they are labelled as doing. Field validation happens when the form is submitted (like in the 1990’s)!

    The rental company is good and they provide good, clean and new cars but their web reservation service and mobile apps are second rate.
  • Keep working on it please!

    I am not sure why but I continually have issues making payments for my reservation using both the PC and Mobile Apps. No, I am not using Discover or American Express cards.
    I rent waaaay to often for this to keep happening and to add to the frustration most often with my payment finally goes through the charge has increased by several euros/dollars a day. Really?

  • Will not accept phone number

    I like Goldcar but cannot make reservations because the app & online reservations will not accept my usa phone number for text verification. Had to make reservations with another company
  • Useless app

    Impossible to do anything but an extremely basic use : I.e. cancel a reservation, other than this the app is completely useless. You can’t book efficiently, it does not process payments properly, consequently you can’t book through the app , gives you error all the time. I have assessed this app before and eventually I had to phone Goldcar to make a reservation and I was charged higher price than the one shown in the app, I had enough by then and paid. I also told the operator their app usually do not work properly and this was why I was forced to make a booking over the phone. She said to me the price was the one she was giving me despite showing lower price in the app earlier, she said she will give me the contact to make a complaint, I told her I will not spend a minute more of my time in complaining, It should have been enough that I was telling her and it should be in her interest and the interest of Goldcar to escalate my complaint about their app, I left clear that I will not trouble myself again next time an book with another company, and told her it was a pity as I think they are a very good car hire company but their online app and website let them down completely.
