Works and setup was easy
Not sure why people are having difficulties but I did not. Key point is to connect to a visible 2.4 ghz wireless to set it up, required for the model I have. Used my iPhone 6 with ease to set up, once I programmed the WiFi password into the speaker it connected directly to the WiFi.
I set the preset buttons using the app and now the speaker is totally independent of the app by using the presets to start playing my favorite content from TuneIn.Tofuuurr

It was working just fine and I was able to connect to Bluetooth and play music but now whenever I try to connect to the app it says that my device is not connected to my Wi-Fi I know it’s not my Wi-Fi because I’m connected and it’s working fine but the app is saying that I’m not connected so please let me know if I need to do something elsegia starkey

After a few frustrating weeks of not being able to connect an iOS device the iLive app and its recent update finally work! My original rating was a well deserved one star but now that everything seems to be up and running I’ll switch it to 4/5. Thanks for finding a fix.BenSpill91
ILive Update
I have to admit when I took the speaker out of the box and mounted under my cabinet, I was excited to get started only to find out the APP did not work with the speaker.
So I made contact with the App customer service.
I was originally giving a 1 star rating, but have since changed to a 4 star rating for the customer service, you delivered the update and it works. Thanks

Not Able To Set Up With iPhone
After receiving as gift. I tried numerous times prior to contacting customer service. They said I would have to wait for an update for the App before it would work with my iPhone. Almost two weeks later and updating the app, still doesn’t work. This was pricey to end up being another Bluetooth speaker only. Can someone please fix this like I was told they would do?!wow cant even do a review
ILive app is JUNK
Bought an ilive speaker with alexa for Christmas. Can’t connect the speaker to my Wi-Fi without the ilive app. The ilive app is complete junk and does not work. Called “tech support “ 3 times and they just keep saying to wait for the next update. Next update comes and SURPRISE it still does not work. I am returning my ilive speaker and will not ever by an ilive product again. Don’t waste your time, spend a few more bucks and get something better.VTGB

Would not let me connect via app. After trying to set up for 3 days I was reading reviews and some was saying to download Loncon app, after downloading speaker was working perfect. Called customer service and says they was rolling out update in 2 days it’s day 4 and still no update. Was about to return my speaker because it would connect because of iOS issues. This is crazy!
I received the Concierge speaker as a Christmas gift. My tech-savvy kids spent two hours trying to set it up with no success. My son left me the receipt so I could return it. But after reading comments on here, I decided to download the LOCON app and give it a try. Within 6 minutes, I was talking to Alexa! Thanks to everyone who shared this info and shame on iLive for selling a product that Apple users can’t use. And a big thumbs down to the “support” staff that keep saying the fix is three days away!Frenchie212
Doesn’t enable WiFi
I bought an alarm clock with Alexa capabilities. I’ve tried installing the app per the instructions but it won’t slow me I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results. It continued to state that:
The iPhone device doesn’t enable WiFi connection. Please enable WiFi connection and try again.

Firstly, this app doesn’t work with the speaker!!! Secondly, why make a product SO DIFFICULT to use by having to DOWNLOAD an app to use a product!? This makes NO SENSE AT ALL! So now I have wasted my money AND have a wireless Bluetooth speaker that’s just sitting in storage because I CANNOT use it🤦🏻♀️ Don’t waste your money on buying any iLive wireless speaker products OR downloading this extremely pointless app!Mstarady
