  • Download the LonCon Player

As stated in another review, those who cannot connect to Alexa download the LonCon Player app, very easy to set up and I am now able to use my Alexa feature. 🙌 iLive should reach out to their people and take some darn notes. Updated the app and was still unable to connect my device. I will never buy nor recommend another iLive product.
  • Horrible app and support

Getting “your device doesn’t enable Wi-Fi connections”. Support blames the release of iOS 12, but say it is a problem with all versions of iOS even though it didn't start until iOS 12 was released. So somehow the simple act of releasing iOS 12 broke devices even if they didn't update. Supposedly it will be fixed by next week even though iOS 12 (and supposedly this issue) have been around for 4 months.
  • Crap! Don’t buy an Ilive speaker

This app will not connect to wifi even though all the settings on my iPhone are correct. Also, will not “walk you through” other WiFi connection options as indicated in the manual. Just sits there and says WiFi not enabled on phone but it is enabled. And it will not let you click on anything else. You have to uninstall and reinstall app to try again but it just keeps failing!
  • Average

So the LONCON PLAYER worked like a charm for my iPhone 8S but why should I have it find a different player and app to use this product? I wouldn’t recommend this device or app to anyone unless, and here it is, it’s free. Thanks Sis

Once you download the LONCON app, connect the device to ilive under your WiFi settings and it will guide you through the set up. Alexa set up was right after which was easy.
  • Worked at first, now locked up

No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall even after waiting and seeing that there’s been updates I can’t get it to leave the screen after I hit search that says my phone doesn’t enable Wi-Fi even though I’m connected to Wi-Fi and I’ve tried on connecting from Wi-Fi I’ve tried hitting the pairing button have tried everything. Now, my speaker is useless.
  • Can’t connect to WiFi

This app is horrible, and will not let me connect to WiFi through my iPhone, which seems to be everyone’s problem. But thanks to other reviews, I found the fix! Download the Loncon Player app, and click the ILive WiFi when it pops up, it will connect to it no problem! I will say that the audio quality of the ILive speaker is absolutely horrible, so even getting the connection, it’s still disappointing when you hardly get any sound in the first place! But at least I found the answer to connecting it!
  • Support said check back in 3 days

App doesn’t work. Called the number on the instructions manual and support is aware of the issue with their app. They told me to check back in 3 days and it should be fixed. Wth. Awful. They need to step it up and get the app fixed within a few hours. My kids keep talking to speaker and it doesn’t respond. Lol. 😂🤨
  • Doesn’t work, making product useless

Like all the other reviews, the app doesn’t work. Bought an Alexa enabled alarm clock as a Xmas present and the app just says “Your device doesn’t enable Wi-Fi connection. Please enable Wi-Fi connection and try again”. There are no instructions on how to set the time on the clock and I’ve tried every combination of buttons and connecting my phone via USB and aux to try and get some use out of it but nothing. Now it’s a worthless piece of junk. Apple really should shut down companies that sell products that require an app to function yet clearly, based on all the recent reviews, doesn’t work AT ALL.
  • Nope

I don’t like the app it isn’t helpful at all, and It will not connect to my speaker. Once I connect to the app and tap “search” it doesn’t really work it says my device doesn’t enable WiFi connection” though my phone is connected to my WiFi. Also my speaker doesn’t connect to my WiFi. Which I do not understand, if you know then let me know. Thank you.
  • Worked great until yesterday 12/25

I’ve had my iLive for a year now and it worked perfectly until yesterday. It appears the app crashed from so many people using it and connecting their new gift. It says I need to enable my Wi-Fi which it’s already enabled. Everything works except for the I live app. The tower works well except for Wi-Fi mode. It won’t connect anymore. After trouble shooting it appears it’s a crash issue with the app. Updates are needed badly so everyone can use there gifts!
