When I search borderline “bad” images, xBlock catches on and doesn’t let me down, very useful! The all runs in the background without me ever having to remember to turn it on/off. Never once has us crashed and needed to be reinstalled. Way to go xBlock team. 🤙🏻Jessekirk
As close to “perfect” blocker as you can find on iOS.
iOS has challenges when it comes to blocking apps (mostly due to their privacy policies), but this app is really effective at taking down all the inappropriate content out there on safari. If you use this with the screen time restrictions, and block apps from being installed/deleted (including other browsers) this is about as perfect as you’ll find on iOS. This has helped. I’ve never had a true addiction but to be completely honest I’ve been tempted multiple times to look and we all know that it can get pretty slippery and to be proactive I installed the app to help keep me protected when I’m feeling low and tempted. Misleading description
1. If you buy this app Apple will not do a refund.
2. Passcode protection is garbage. In order to activate it developer sends you to the Screen Time menu in Settings and suggests to disable the installation and deletion of other apps which is nonsense and set a password to undo this change.
3. It blocks way to many websites. Yes, I want pornography to be blocked but half of websites I’m trying to go are blocked and have nothing to do with porn.

Filters it all...to a fault
I LOVE this app! It helped me overcome some personal struggles by blocking negative and triggering content. I’ve victoriously been content free for over 2 years, but now can’t remove or turn off the blocker because I’ve lost the password. Wouldn’t be a big deal, except you can’t even view innocent google images of cute puppies or beautiful cakes. That’s extremely frustrating!Show lessEreeves09
Excellent Product!
I would pay more for this. This is so helpful and makes surfing the web safe and more enjoyable. I have used this app for over four months now, and I have never seen any image or video that is inappropriate—nudity of any kind even images of people at a beach or pool (situations that some may consider normal or appropriate nudity)—and I have never been able to access any inappropriate site. Love this app and the freedom it has given me, only thing I would say is that there are some loopholes and deeper ways to still view X rated content. Clicking links deep within pages on apps is one way, like Facebook messenger or Pinterest. Another way is anytime a browser is opened within an app, if you are able to find the settings or terms and agreements page for the browser, wether it be google, bing, or another search engine, you are usually able to find anything you want with minimal interference from the app. The only other issue is that it blocks very mundane and normal things, I know that can’t Necessarily be helped. It’s a blocker
Overall, app and system is good. I do believer for $30 it could better so I hope for more updates. One of the biggest issues I have is the full on block of google images. Instead of using keywords it just completely blocks google images all together. My second complaint like most other comments is the “passcode protection”. Their isn’t one within the app which is a bit of a head scratcher considering it’s $30. If a refund were possible I would probably ask for one.Show lessAsnazzysir
Great App
Though it has some flaws, such as allowing some pornographic content to get through, it is overall a very good and simple app to help provide a barrier. As far as the flaws go, I will note that when I had sent feedback to the admin their response was quick, which was great and much appreciated.RaggedyXandy
Fantastic for staying accountable
I can feel confident letting my son play with my phone knowing he won't stumble upon sites he has no business going to.
I do hope they improve their algorithm for determining whether or not a site is ok or not because sometimes when I receive links through email or text for work it block all sites. But not every time. I still believe it's loads better than any other app in the app storeShow lessJeffreyWoodson2
