Yes it makes it so you won't be able to see some pages and things that don't contain pornography, but it also blocks any pornography on it making it very safe to surf the web wheather you are trying to break a habit or just avoid pornography. Yeah you do give up a little bit of your freedom with some things and websites that are completely harmless, but it also keeps anything close to porn away. I use to have a bad habit of watching porn and it ruined my life and the way I saw women for a while, I'm trying to avoid falling back into that bad habit and this is a great app for it, I nolonger need to worry about running into it while im on my phone again.Show lessshark alien
Best Blocker, Best Developer
The blocker is simple and effective for those who want to take no risks with temptation. It's true, it may block harmless images, websites, or Google searches, but I would rather have a more strict control while giving up some of my freedom to search. The developer also uses a blacklist to add websites that may need targeted individually, and he is unbelievably responsive and quick to add any legitimate suggestions to the list. Though this app is for anyone fighting against the destructive nature of pornography, I would especially encourage Christian men and women to get this blocker as a huge step towards long-term success.Show lessPhoenix7010

I have been looking for an app like this for some time! I love the fact that it is not subscription based! While I know no app is going to make the difference between victory or defeat in the battle of the mind, I believe that this can definitely help put an extra line of defense against accidental failure! I'm very impressed with this app and customer service. If anyone wants to look at porn it's not hard these days. This app really helps! This is a great app! Very simple but effective. It has its flaws here and there about not blocking some and blocking others but the customer support is very impressive and they get back to you immediately! good at blocking porn, also blocks many other things
This content blocker app is good at what its name says it does: blocking porn. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to block many other things that aren't porn. This is rather frustrating and (assuming you haven't restricted enabling/disabling the app) results in the fairly frequent need to disable the blocker to view articles/sites that have nothing to do with porn. I wish the blocker were smarter and provided a way to whitelist specific sites or domains.
• Overzealous in blocking porn. It seems to filter out sites using a word search, with many of those words having fairly common usage in non-porn contexts. Other words that are nearly only used in the context of porn AREN'T blocked — maybe they're too niche for the app writer to be aware of? Would be good if there were a way to suggest words.
• Constantly blocks pages on Wikipedia and technical articles. As someone who browses Wikipedia a lot, this is really annoying. I'd love it if I could whitelist the domain.
• Blocks some sites that couldn't conceivably be considered porn. Articles, how-to guides, medical/health information, ... maps...Show lessjason.glassbrook

This is the perfect app! I myself have had problems with watching porn in the past and let me tell you it really isn't a good thing. Sometimes you can get so lost and addicted to it and it doesn't exactly make me feel too good but with this app I don't remember the last time I've even go to a pornsite out of site out of my mind 😊Show lessAmiMinako

I tried other apps but they all required disabling Safari and using their homegrown browser. The problem is they don't have the support that Safari does so they always crapped out with every update. So far, I've encountered one update with no problem. As a CS major this makes me very happy. Thanks for the quality work.Show lessShannon2002
Thankful for this app
I used to x3watch and x3watch premium. I loved those apps at first because they helped and provided accountability. However, the browsers tended to have issues and there were some features safari had that they didn't. Finally, they stopped working and I needed a backup.
Porn blocker allows me to use safari and access all of its features while blocking dangerous websites. The owner is responsive and very helpful. He will update websites and answer questions. I haven't found anything better and don't think I will any time soon.Show lessTrinwolf
