Just don’t do it. It starts out as a fun strategy game. You’re building up your base under the illusion you can compete and win on tactics. You join or start an alliance, get to know people and are having a great time. It’s consuming your days now, so much fun you can’t set it down. Every chance you get, you’re checking your timers..hmm I think I’ll buy this $1.99 pack and finish the base so I can whoop some A! Then you realize everyone else is waaaaaaay past that $2 pack and buying packs at $100 a pop. Most “good” players easily have $1,000+ into it. Some players have even spent in the 10’s of thousands. NOT KIDDING. I easily had 2 grand in this game by the time I quit. Now, at $2,000 I was good. And was also good at the strategy of the game where I could compete with the guys that had 5+grand in it...but who’s really winning here. We’re talking about silliness in the amount of money you’ll blow. BTW-same review goes for Mobile Strike and Game of War. This game is where MS and GoW players came when those got too expensive. Game of kings
Why do they always mess up these games by doing something different? It used to be a lot of fun. Especially monster hunting events on tuesdays. Now we don’t get any gifts from killing monsters. Only certain monsters gives gifts. They should switch it back. I used to log on like an hour in advance to prepare. Now I don’t. And the events? What’s with these events. Same thing everyday. Add more kingdom and alliance events. How about more kvk’s. Maybe twice a week. Bring back the monster gifts.Show less808HAWAIIAN 808
Very slow customer service.
This game’s customer service team is very slow when it comes to dealing with their customers. It takes about 3-4 days,or longer for an actual response from their staff team. I advise that players do not spend their money on digital goods that will not be provided. If you’re having an issue with getting the goods you have purchased I highly advise you request a refund, or make a claim to receive your money back as you will have a hard time dealing with their customer service.Show lessIamwwonS
Developers should listen to players
This game started out as a Game of War copycat. It was fun at first. Now the devs have decided the best way to entertain players is to create new monsters. It’s a war game, not a monster killing game! Customer service is awful. I recently had a purchase glitch and didn’t receive a pack. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund like the App Store suggested. The customer rep told me they can’t do refunds and to talk to Apple or Google! Seriously? Pathetic! Unbelievable
This game use to be fun. It has turned into another Game of War! This is where the greed comes in. It is impossible to play anymore unless you are buying packs so if you wanna play have your money ready. Also it’s impossible to gather resources to grow because the big players are always hitting your resource tiles and killing your troops. ( they are afraid to go to war with other big players because they don’t want to lose their troops) we do events to win the kingdom event but the big players absolutely will not let you gather gold, if you do they hit your tiles and kill your troops. Now we don’t get the gifts for killing monsters SMH! This is a way to force people to buy packs. The game is coming to its end just like GOW! Good luck if you want to play unless you’ve got a lot of money you won’t get far! Good Luck big players when you have only dead cities to hit cause so many are quitting!

Not that bad
I’ve been playing gok for over 3 years, I played other games. GOK by far is better sure it has its issue but they are getting better, the glitch issue not that bad, their coming up with new events all be it not very good ones but their trying. As far as customer service their usually pretty good at getting back to you if not that day the very next day , the game is improving. I do have a little issue with catering to the big spenders it leaves the rest of us out in the cold. I love the game play compared to all the others, heck some games you can’t get a port unless you spend. Other games limit what you can do in your castles GOK don’t . Save time and money
Make no mistake, this is another scam of the “free to play” apps. And this is coming from a players that has ranked in the top 10 in power in two different kingdoms, and regularly spends money on the game. The support is , yet again, non-existent. And until recently, the game was somewhat enjoyable, and not that expensive to be competitive, although expensive to be a top player. Developers have recently grown money hungry. They have completely changed the event system, which was vital for non spenders to grow, in order to PUSH players to spend $$$. Before the update, the game was somewhat depleted in “active” players numbers. More and more players are quitting after the event update. There is a real disconnection between the game developers , which are located in China, and the game community, and , like players discontent, it grows larger by the hour.

Walk away fast
The game has turned into a big spender game, of course you can play free but you will never compete in any real events. The customer support does not listen to the gamers, you get a pre typed message for a reply when you mail them. The developers request out input and do just the opposite. With the current update they just made people are leaving by the masses. Of course your big spenders will always be there until they realize everyone else left. This same thing happened in GOW and Mobile Strike. I consider myself a mid level spender and what they are doing to this game has ruined it. Off to another game for me.Show lesswolverine517
What a joke
This game was fun. You could play/build at your own pace and there was always something to do, even if you weren’t spending money. And if you chose to spend money, you could have your game fun too. But, customer service has always sucked. There are constant glitches that never seem to get fixed properly. And the new changes the developers have made have completely wrecked the game as we’ve been playing it. If it wasn’t for the great players and friendships I’ve made in game, I’d have dropped it long ago. Doubt I’ll be playing much longer.Show lessDW29X
Waste of Time &Money
When the game glitches; and it will, you will receive the worst support in the industry. You will buy a pack and realize they did not give you the most important item and contact them. Support will ask for screen shots and proof and when you finally can not get one item asked for, they will use that as the excuse to say “sorry we can’t help you. I paid multiple times for a VIP that gets you over level 10, on two different devices; I thought maybe it was on the other device. When I finally asked for the items they acted like experts and asked for more than possible. Once I pointed out that they had the list and account information, because of what they showed me, they started acting like kids who couldn’t use a device.
