So much potential but....
So I really loved the look and feel of this app when I downloaded it, so based on how it appeared, I spent a whole bunch of money subscribing to traffic and speed cameras and every other option available including buying some voices etc. Big mistake, I did all this assuming that as a navigation app, it would do a good job at that, but it routinely fails that test. Almost without exception I can enter same start and destination in Karta and then 3 or 4 other apps, most using OSM maps, and they will usually all give the same optimum route, but not Karta. In fact I don’t know that it has ever suggested the same route as the other apps. Just today, it wanted me to get off the highway and instead of taking the loop exit to go west, it wanted me to take the east exit and do a U-Turn! I have tried sending examples to technical support but honestly a navigation app has to be good at that before anything else can really matter. If they get that right, this is a winner, I think it is the best overall product for appearance, features etc except for the routing issues, so I hope they figure out their algorithm problems.Show lessSABiltongHunter

Hi compare to Tomtom, how come the GPS maps are so small? E.g Australia and China are both over 100mb.Superduper232425

Hi there, we are using OpenStreetMap data, which unlike the TomTom data, is free open source data, which uses different rendering and data structures, so it's not really possible to compare the map data just by seeing the size of each map. E.g.: France or Germany maps can even be bigger than TomTom maps in size (depending on the target version), but that alone would not say that they are better. Thank you.Works awesome in Canada.
I came over the border and instantly had problems with my Apple maps app in Vancouver. Got lost without any GPS.
Later that night I downloaded this app and have only great things to say about it.
Works everywhere between Vancouver and Whistler so far. Haven’t gone beyond that yet.jas11111111111

Dont bother with all other sat navs this one is what you want ive had dozens and deleted them all we’re rubbish im keeping this one its better than google and apple maps togetherceekaysss

I couldn't drive by following the wrong directions which this app was giving me. 19 years driver first time I found myself struggling to drive on the roads which I'm passing every week. There was no traffic on the road and it sent me from shortcut where was traffic light and I lost 2 mins for no reason! It looked they wanted me to be late sometimes and there were signs appeared on the screen that were sending me out of my direction and I could see the reload for a new direction many times and I was very upset! Used on holiday where we had no mobile data. Not as slick or accurate as Google but it got us where we were going and it's free!Tuc76

A good driving directions app if you don’t have internet. I use my iPad with it since I’m one of those people who doesn’t have internet on my phone. Still using a flip phone😲. I used it in the country road, and it did pretty good getting me to my destination. I had to use my own common sense of direction once, but overall it did a good job.Show lessnoway1123
