I use a password manager (1password) to store my ALEC password which is a giant string of random characters. Normally, if the app developer didn't decide to natively add in support for using password managers to their app, I could at least go into the 1password app, copy the password from there and paste it into the password field in the app I’m trying to log into.
Instead, the ALEC app not only actively blocks me from being able to paste in the password, but if I try to go back and forth between the two apps to type in the password a few characters at a time, the ALEC app will erase everything I had previously typed in.
The only way around this would be to write the password down first which kind of defeats the purpose of the password manager (or just general password safekeeping).
Until this is fixed, the app is non-functional for me.
