Performs Its Function Well
This app isn't suited for those who haven't studied and are seeking to learn hiragana. This app is for practice and review. This app does very well in its stated function. I would you this for quick reviews for beginners. Compete against your friends. For this purpose, I like the app.

One of the best kana games I have tried and looks great too. Do wish I could increase answer time for some sections since I'm just learning but that doesn't keep it from five stars. Love this app
Amazing aside from a few small things
Totally gorgeous, with a wonderful colour palette, and two different modes for practicing hiragana and katakana. It's perfect aside from
the fact that you will always get one answer "wrong" as the timer runs out and you're unable to answer the final question. This is made even more infuriating as you're then presented with a message telling you to aim for 100% next time! I'm also not in love with how it takes an extra moment to show you your wrong answer - I definitely appreciate the chance to review my mistake, but I feel like it goes on a few moments too long, which really matter when you're on a timer.
I'd definitely recommend this app, but there is also room for improvement, and it'd be neat having a non-timed mode (you set how many reviews you want to do, instead).

Good for testing rapid recall
I only wish you could combine hiragana and katakana together, and test combinations of kana
Need to fix settings
There is a glitch in the settings where it tells you to choose 4 or more kana even if you have already chosen 4+. Also, it crashes the app if you press it again. Please fix this because I paid for the pro version of the app... else, I'd like a refund.
Score sucksπ
It's ALLWAYS telling me to aim for 100% whether I get all of them or miss one if I get 30 right it'll tell me to get 32 if I do that it'll tell me to get 34 π some how I can never get 100%

a great app, you can customise which characters you use in the quiz which means you can gradually add more until you have all the kana. also, it's very pleasing to the eyes unlike a lot of other apps. overall an excellent app. π

I have ADHD and the game's fast paced style of quizzing helps keep my attention on it, enabling me to learn the characters quicker while also having fun! They are a lot easier to remember as well as you are seeing and hearing them constantly while you play, making it a lot easier to associate the symbol with the sound. Very good for memory issues!
It is extremely helpful for people like me that this game uses more than one sense and also keeps my hands busy all at once. It is also useful for others that you may turn the sounds and such off if you so please.
I was able to learn hiragana in a day as opposed to many days staring at a book and I couldn't grasp the characters.
Additionally, the upgrade
to unlock the full app is 100% worth it!! Totally recommend it.

Great app for learners
I'm currently learning hiragana and this app is really helpful in remembering how the characters sound. My only suggestion for improvement would be to give the users more time to enter their answer as for a learner it goes too quick! But overall a great app to keep on top of your studies!

I reccomend this app to anyone that has a grasp with Hiragana and Katakana because it's cute, memorable and fun! It helps a lot but pacing you to learning the characters! My only problem with it though is mostly a personal desire, maybe adding other sets like for ex; (ga, gi, gu, ge, go & za, zi, zu, ze, zo β etc,) Other than that, I love the app !!!
