Really Cute and Super Helpful
The design is simple and cute, allowing me to practice as I learn. I really enjoy it because you can customize which hiragana you want to play with so its perfect when I just learn something and I want to practice. It's surprisingly so much fun that I even catch myself wanting to play all the time.

The title of my review says it all! This game quizzes you, randomized characters, and it is an amazing way to keep you thinking. Sure, the time crunch for each guess is flustering, but it definitely primes you to recall the correct answer much quicker. The more you play, the quicker you'll recall. I definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone trying to learn hiragana and katakana!

So easy to cover
I have tried many different apps, for more money too. I love how simple this one is and it covers dakuten in both hiragana and katakana! It's easy to pick up and practice with and keeps my reading knowledge up to date!
Very helpful, great design
This app is really useful for learning Hiragana and several other Japanese character set. The design is drop down gorgeous which makes it easy to stay motivated. I've been wanting to go to Japan for a while and this app is just what I need to get started learning Japanese.

Wish i could do both hiragana and katakana at once tho . Also the option to change how long each question stays up would be nice . Other than that its very very helpful and i love it !!

Don't buy if you need Katakana
Free version only lets you practice hiragana.
Doesn't have all characters
It's a fun memory game that challenges you to remember written characters in a limited time. However, it does not have all of the Hiragana and Katakana characters that there are. It has almost all of them, so I don't know why they didn't complete it. Fun, but it you want to practice with the whole of both of the alphabets, you're out of luck.

Annoying ads
This app would be great if I could pay to remove the ads.
Only useful if you know kana
As in you know it on the fly. It only gives you like 2 seconds to answer before it shows the answer. Not useful for beginners.
