Can’t Use It
Still no indoor accessory. Since I bought mine for indoor use, it’s no good to me. If they allowed manual operation from the app and it was reliable, that would help. Still, I’d have to hire a crew member and fly them to every event where I’m speaking. Huge disappointment after two years of waiting.Show lessJv-4301

Extremely disappointed!
Waited a year and a half to receive the Soloshot 3 only to be disappointed. There is no way to control the camera remotely. Still waiting for update of the app to allow control from smartphone!
I have submitted reviews of the app on two other occasions since receiving my Soloshot 3 but they keep getting removed. This product is not as advertised and the app updates to make it as described by the manufacturer still have not been released.Show lessCGrubicon
Where is remote control?
Love the idea of this camera. For my church this product is almost vital for us to use... except that I can’t even use it at this point for one of the two reasons we bought it. There isn’t any hardware reason I shouldn’t be able to use it as a remote camera, only a software reason.
I understand why (only a tiny bit) the indoor accessory isn’t available yet. Still in production. that piece still needs refinements to the hardware. What about as a remote PTZ camera? This unit has all the ability to be that, the app just hasn’t coded for that feature yet and I find that a bit absurd! There is no reason to have that feature kept under wraps mostly because I can’t imagine it’s all that difficult, you already know how to tell the camera to move the motors manually. Quite honestly how I’m setting the camera up doesn’t even need to have a live feed coming off of it (HDMI output is going to a different monitor). This was the only feature that I felt was going to save us from having to wait even longer till the indoor accessory comes out.
Eagerly awaiting that software unlock, ya’ll. Thanks. Cheers.

Works as advertised. Very pleased. Really cool to see what other people are doing with their Soloshots. Would love to see the auto editor though. Not five stars till we get that.dan204

Huge disappointment!
After waiting for more than two years for SOLOSHOT 3, the camera, base and their app are horrible. This app provides practically nothing that the original product promised. There is no Director or Coach mode. No ability to adjust the device or settings from the app. Cannot review videos or photos that were not done in live streaming. No Astro tracking. All you can do is watch what other members have live streamed. Absolutely horrible app! Waiting for all of the features promised, but so far......nothing! 5 out of 5 stars is an appalling joke, so I was forced to write a review.Show lessK9Moxy
