App Does NOT Work
There were only a handful of shows and movies on the app and none of them would play, there was no menu anywhere that I could find, and nothing would come up in the search. I downloaded the app because I love the channel and Dr. Who but I could not watch or find anything! Please fix whatever bugs you have. I would love to use this app. Also, I tried to use the app on my son’s Xbox and it has an error message and would not work there either. Something is definitely wrong with the entire app.

Just use the default player for Apple TV
The Apple TV app is horrendous. It’s so difficult to go back and skip ahead on your proprietary media player. It will just jump around to random spots and makes you rewatch entire sets of ads just to put you at that random spot…just use the default media player. It’s soooo much better.
Shameful
It’s impossible to watch a show. 3-5 minutes of repetitive commercials that are all at awkward moments, sometimes in the middle of dialogue. Go backwards because you miss a line? You might be subject to even MORE commercials. But sometimes when casting it will just crash altogether because it can’t play commercials. So frustrating.

A miserable experience
One of the worst streaming apps. The app allegedly “lost” it internet connection (not) before getting To get to the end of an episode and I tried to scroll to the end of the shows. The app made it not easy to go to the point the app stopped working and it fed me ENDLESS commercials that I have already seen. Writing this review only makes dislike this app more.

Started playing an ad, with audio, on launch
Unbelievably rude. Immediately upon first launching this app it was playing a large video ad at me, with audio, before I had even had a chance to pay money to not be advertised at. This is absurdly obnoxious and absolutely unacceptable. I don’t even care if there is a way to make this behavior stop, or if the app is otherwise useable. Deleted immediately.

Terrible on Apple TV
This is one of the worst streaming apps I've come across since I got Apple TV. It makes watching something extremely difficult, if you can even find it. Trying to rewind or fast forward just makes it jump to a random spot and always plays the same ads first. The 10 sec back or forward function is not available. When I turn subtitles on they turn off after every ad break and I have to keep turning them on. Sometimes they don't turn on at all. Sometimes when I pause it refuses to resume, or it goes to the settings menu but doesn't actually let me choose anything in the settings or exit. The only way I've been able to get out is by going back to Apple TV, deleting this app and reinstalling. All these things have just happened to me trying to watch 1 episode of Killing Eve, but they all happened before. It's seriously awful. No other TV channel or streaming app I've used has been this bad.

Commercial break every two mins, with 9 ads per break!
This is by far the worst streaming app I’ve come across. It keeps glitching, closing out, & making you rewatch commercials to get back to your program. Most of the time it doesn’t even load the program back after the ad is over!
There were NINE ads per commercial break, and the commercial breaks came after only 2-5 mins of programming, only for the program to glitch out. I spent half an hour to watch 7 minutes of Killing Eve. Not worth it at all.

Worst streaming app on the market
I’m trying to finish Doctor Who and I can’t get past season 13 episode one because I had to start my video to do something and when I tried to go back to it I had to find my place again but in order to do that you have to watch NINE ads every single time you tried to move the bar you find your place

Non-functional
Among other things, on the Apple TV the Closed Caption feature doesn’t work at all. It has a setting that purports to let you turn CC on and off, but either setting results in no CC. In addition, there is no way to contact anyone at BBCA for support. Clicking on the contact field on the web site results in a 404 error message or the page not loading at all.

This could be a good app
If they ever get around to paying attention to it. It’s almost as if they’re hoping people will get frustrated enough to give up and find a paying way to watch their programming on top of the subscription cost we already paid. Commercials break into episodes mid scene, audio video sync issues especially if casting to a television and finally the episodes take weeks to update IE if the ep was broadcast today don’t expect to see it on the app for a week or 3 minimum. But it’s better than nothing and that is why I’ve given a second star.
