Difficult app to use - Buggy - couldn’t sign up
Will update review when I can sign up not using Facebook to use the app. Couldn’t get past putting in zip code.Eyeshield_21

Can’t trust this app as they removed my negative review from a sitter’s page. But after that sit and very bad experience by the way I received an email and call from their co-founder Ari Last and he said that they would never delete the review as it’s their policy not to delete the negative reviews. But some time passed and they deleted it. Imagine my surprise? And here we are talking about our children not a hotel or another restaurant... So how can I trust this service if they deleted my review where is that guarantee that they didn’t delete all negative reviews that other parents left?
Ps/ as I was also complaining that the photo of the sitter was completely retouched so you can’t recognise the sitter in real life so their co founder Ari Last also mentioned over the phone that their policy is not to have any retouched or photos with any filter on the app, guess which photo that sitter still has... they only talk about policies but unfortunately that don’t have them.Show lessLana Lalana

As a young business, we will always seek out ways to improve our service and correct our mistakes - we take all negative feedback seriously and are open to it. In this case, however, the contents of this review are false and malicious in nature and we have reported it to Apple. bubble will remove user reviews when their content is defamatory and insulting against another member of our community. As a student with flexible availability I love the concept of the app and it’s just what I’ve been looking for HOWEVER I really dislike the fact that sitters can’t see reviews that parents give them. I understand that this is to allow parents to be honest about their experience but I don’t see why they wouldn’t be anyway as they have the choice to not book the same sitter again if they don’t want to. It makes being a sitter very stressful and you overthink the tiniest things. Surely the point of feedback is so that we can learn from it, not just to inform other parents? Overall it’s a useful app and I’ve had mostly good experiences on the sits I’ve done but definitely agree with other reviewers that parents are prioritised and treated a lot better by the app.Show lessbetty141516
Great app with great potential.
This app has helped me gain steady work and extra money since joining. It really is a great app which I think all parents can benefit from! It’s easy to use, navigate and paying through the app is genius. However, I’ve given 4 stars because they charge the nannies/babysitters to work. They should be charging the investors, especially since we do not get paid travel time. Speaking to parents, they have told me that sitters have suggested that they just text each other after so they can avoid this charge.. also, when a babysitter cancels, it affects our rating however when a parent cancels nothing happens! This really annoys me as sometimes life happens and you have to cancel. I believe this app should find the balance between helping families AND sitters as it seems to be purely beneficial for the families at the moment.Show lessgAykd68!
Brilliantly convenient but now CHARGE SITTERS to use!
I was a huge fan of bubble, as it’s incredibly convenient and I think what we’ve all been looking for in an app for mums and babysitters. It’s a great way of connecting with families and building up a work profile, and for me I love the ability to be spontaneous and flexible which the app greatly enables. HOWEVER, I’ve been incredibly disappointed with their recent decision to charge babysitters- I understand they are a business however there is no other ‘agency’ that charges the sitter/nanny, parents are happy to pay for the service, but I am not happy to pay to work, especially as we don’t get paid travel. It should be the investors who should be approached to help out financially and not the babysitters- you don’t pay to work in other professions and I feel this was an unfair and poor decision by the app. They did send an explanatory email however I do feel it will cause parents and sitters to come off the app after meeting and book jobs privately.Show lessnigglednanny!

I’ve used the app a few times to find a babysitter and have always had a great experience.
The app itself is easy to use. Choose the date and time of your required sit. Sitters apply for the job. You choose which sitter you like the sound of/hourly rate of. You get their phone no from an email confirmation so you can confirm things directly with the sitter. They turn up at required time and place. And they take over while you work/go out/whatever. At the end of the session you pay them through the app too, and it pays them to the penny for their time so no awkward scrabbling around trying to work out what you owe or looking for change 😉. Simple and effective.
The sitters tend to be fantastic. I say tend to be, as of 5 sitters I’ve booked, 1 did not turn up at all 🤬, 1 was an average personality and preferred talking to me than playing with my kid, and 3 we’re so tremendous I would move them in.Show lessCaz85a
Great way to find babysitting jobs!
I'm a babysitter, and this app has been great for connecting with parents and earning some extra cash. The process is easy and very streamlined.
One caveat: if you don't already know any parents in the area, it will be difficult to find jobs right away. I just recently moved the the U.K., so I didn't have any parents to connect with on the app. Now that I've done a few sits and gotten some positive reviews I've been getting a lot more work, but it took several weeks. If you're in my situation, don't expect to get a lot of jobs right away.Show lessmycathatesyou
