Great Concept, Room for improvement
First off let me say I love the idea of this social network. It’s basically twitter for poetry, and I find to be very inspiring as well as a breath of fresh air. However, it’s extremely laggy and half the time when I press buttons (like follow or publish) it’s unresponsive. I saw that you can access it on an internet browser, so I tried that to see if that method worked better. Couldn’t even login though :( Also when I created my account on my phone, facebook signup didn’t work. I ended up doing it through google because of that. That wasn’t too much of a problem but just a note. If you could fix some of these bugs, this would be a 5 star app in my opinion, but currently I often find it frustrating to use.Show lessTEEJITO
Great for sharing poetry! I few minor things...
I love sharing my poetry on Poetizer! So far, the users have been very nice and I have been getting positive feedback! I would like to warn parents who are considering this for their child: people can say whatever they want in their poems and people are gonna be people so watch out! I also have been having connection issues and many times I struggle with pressing the like button on other poems due to the lag. However, overall I strongly suggest this app and can’t wait to see all your poems!!!Show lessMe/cool

I LOVE the design and functions of the app. But using is incredibly frustrating and not worth it, due to how slow the app is at responding, and how glitchy it is. Most of the time it does not respond to touch when I try to like people’s poems, it won’t let me copy and paste text, it posted one poem 5 times because the app lags so bad, and it won’t let me click on people’s profiles. The worst part is all of these things ARE possible in the app, and occasionally it responds but most of the time it does not. Insanely frustrating. Please fix!!! I love the app and will just have to wait to use it again when it’s fixed.Show lesskatsandchickens

I love the idea of this app, but the lag and sluggish performance of it makes it absolutely unbearable to use for more than 5 minutes. It takes 10 minutes to load up the top poems of the day/week/month and for your feed. Sometimes you post a poem yet two copies of it get posted onto your feed. Click the follow button of someone and it takes about 20 seconds to respond. It’s absolutely ridiculous.Show lessJiggly jiggly boo dog Yoo

Really great app to be creative on but it constantly glitches, doesn’t load content and it’s really hard to build a community when there is no reply to comment function and you can’t tag or get a notification when someone mentions or replies to something you’ve commentedflowerswrites

Great app, great community to share to and read other works! Slightly buggy however it doesn’t take away from the experience enough to cause too much concern!
It would be interesting to see the option to add small illustrations however it’s not really the reason for the app so it wouldn’t be a miss if not added either!Show lessabsolute frequency

I am loving this app. It’s a great platform to share your writings and read other incredible writings but.... there are a lot of glitches like taking way too long to like or comment, double commenting or posting your piece multiple times. It gets pretty frustrating. Also we’re dealing with a scammer named Shaun now. Other than that if those bugs were fixed would be a five star right now 4.5Show lessbelle71187
please for the love of god improve this app
this app has a lot of potential for success. it would attract a lot more writers if it was given a few improvements, all of which i read in another persons review:
1. this app is incredibly slow. i end up staring at a loading page for several seconds too long and doing any simple task such as discarding a draft takes much too long. app will also crash once in a while when this happens.
2. auto-save. i write all my poems in a google doc prior to submitting but this is a heavy inconvenience for those who don't, and considering this is a WRITING app it would be common sense to have an auto save function.
3. can't copy and paste poems? seriously??? don't think i need to add any more to this to emphasize how ridiculous that is.
the app does have a minimalist style which i can appreciate but the flaws outweigh its goodsShow lesshads.
What I’ve Noticed
I WANT to like this app. So badly. However there are a few things that are killer for this app.
• It is SLOW. I go to one page and have to wait 30 seconds to load anything. Even my own drafts and publishes. Now this may be because I have slow internet but still this means that you don’t really have an offline function.
• No Copy And Paste? Really? The most BASIC function in anything and it’s not there?
• Autosaving is very much needed. I have to use another app just because I don’t want to loose my work.
• It’d be cool to have a “My Eyes” section or a way to make things private.
• Changing your language is a pain. When I first made an account it was in a certain language and every time I switched to English it didn’t work. It took me a very long time to finally get what I want and even then it sometimes switches my languages.
• It’s just so slow. My gosh is it slow.
Please fix it. I’ll change me review once I see some noticeable changes on the app.Show lessAthenaHawk
