not working now

this apps worked in the past but now… with the upgrade (IOS 17,1) = crashed !! So sad ! I liked this apps ::::

Not connecting to FP-10 ACR

I have tried all possible recipe to connect my iPad via Bluetooth to the application and I always get the data acquisition failed error. I thought that the app could at least recognize a usb cable, no success either. I was able to connect with the other Roland app "Piano App" but I cannot use the bonus tones.

Outdated interface but works ok

I often use when I practice with Roland F140-R. The only tedious issue is when using the Metronome because it does not retain the value if you switch or minimize the application in your iPhone. For example, you had fix the Metronome in 90 but you switch the Application and it goes arbitrarily to 135. For the rest, It does the job.

So far so good.

I got immediate Bluetooth connectivity with my FP 30. That made me happy. I went through each of the icons in the app to understand their functionality. And I did a couple of basic recordings which worked well. My only confusion right now is how to change keys in the Rhythms section. I don’t understand the explanation offered on the Roland website. Will continue to figure it out.

Awful app. Can’t connect to either iPad or iPhone.

So therefore all the extra sounds can’t be accessed. Why these aren’t just added to the fp-10 itself I don’t know. Such poor user experience. Please create a hardware update that allows these extra sounds to be accessed without the terrible app.

Won’t connect

Every single time i want to use my piano with this app, i have to delete it and reinstall it, otherwise it just wont connect to my piano. I have the FP-10 and though its connected to my ipad, it wont connect to the app. It just says scanning. The only way i can fix this is if i delete the app and reinstall it. Please, for the love of God…. Fix this

Poor connectivity

Was able to use when I first started using the FP-10 piano, and that felt like jumping through hoops to work. Now it just fails to connect. Hard to understand where the issue is- FP-10 or app since there’s next to no status feedback from either. Great piano, naff app/Bluetooth connectivity.

Horrible app

This app is too difficult to use. It doesn’t automatically connect to the piano when turned on. I have to manually select it every time. The front on the sheet music is too small, and there is no way to zoom or adjust it. I am using my iPad and it’s still smaller than standard sheet music. The play through of the songs doesn’t allow you to start playing from a particular measure. It will only start playing from the beginning. Doesn’t matter that I’m working on page two or three. Super frustrating.

Expands the features of your Roland FP-10 but says incompatible with FP60X...

A must-have app to use with your Roland FP-10 or other digital pianos. With the FP-10 it enables you to easily change voices, reverb level, transpose, adjust key sensitivity, volume, choose different keyboard modes such as split or dual voice (as well as assign voices and adjust the balance or octave shift of them). Above all else it gives you access to additional sounds on the FP-10. Overall a great app but let down in that it only works in landscape mode! When using my iPad to read sheet music and then wanting to change the settings of the FP-10, it is very annoying having to keep rotating the iPad to use this app. Hope this can be address in the future.

Update - So far I have been unable to connect this app to the FP60X. It keeps saying this piano is incompatible. The older piano partner app works though but is rather limited. Anyone know how to fix this? Also annoying the app only works in landscape and on a 11 inch iPad Pro.

Disappointed

Roland sound is pretty good one of the better ones to be honest but the apps are disappointing compared to Yamaha and Kawai , songs are mostly ,l actually all classical nothing modern , rhythms are old School and again nothing modern. Display of app lacking behind others.
