Love this app but it started shutting down after a few seconds. I was very impressed that the developer fixed the problem as soon as he read about my concern. Thank you. I am back to using the site daily to develop my kanji skills, vocabulary and general knowledge about what is on the news in Japan.Show lessTavenxxx

This app is really good for improving vocab, grammar and general reading. Kanji are colour coded to correspond with JLPT level, and you can choose which level you want highlighted with furigana. For example I have passed N5, so opted for N4 and above Kanji to be highlighted.
There are also helpful vocab lists and flash cards for each article, and a chance to have a go at translating it too.
All in all a really great app and well worth the price for the premium version.Show lessAntonio Tzikas

This app is so amazing!! Not only does reading and translating the articles help with grammar and vocabulary, but you can take all the Japanese Proficiency tests and track your progress!! Only problem is, when I passed the first part of JPLT N5 and tried the “save image” option, the app crashed, so not I don’t have a photo of my score, nor can I look at the answers (T^T). Here’s my one suggestion: instead of making you retake the test, once completed, it should take you back to your most recent result, and offer an option to retake if desired. For ages, I always liked NHK Easy Japanese News. The problem is, not portable. But this application is so well made, it’s just too good to be true. Finally I can carry this with me and encourage me to learn Japanese (again). Thank you so much! I’m a happy customer! Great way to practise reading Japanese and increase your vocabulary. Afterwards you can also listen to the easy news article being read as well as listen to the original news story.lisaveeta
