  • Slow and doesn’t load

App is slow and doesn’t load since updating my IOS software. It is constantly giving me meal plans for mainstream when I am a vegetarian and they app doesn’t refresh properly. Definitely needs bug fixes and an update please.
  • Little things would make it better

This app is very useful but I think a few little things would make it a great app.
I copy and paste the shopping list to notes but the ability to share the shopping list would make things a lot easier.
Being able to print the weeks meal plan from the app would also be helpful. I go onto the website but the format doesn’t print the whole page from my ipad which is frustrating.
Being able to increase or decrease serving quantities would also be helpful. I cook for my family and often cook the dinners for 4 people. It would be really great to be able to choose how many serves you are making of each meal.
Having a seafood free option would be great. I don’t eat fish and found it difficult to stick to the mainstream meal plan without eating fish. Could you suggest fish-free options?
The recipe library would be move user friendly if you could select the phase of the challenge during your search. When trying to swap meals to be fish free it was difficult to know if I was choosing a meal from the correct phase of the challenge.
Otherwise this is a great app. Keep up the good work team!

  • Shopping list

Fantastic app and I’m really enjoying the meals. First time cooking and I'm impressed with myself. The only improvement the app needs is to do with the shopping list. It is a large list and I constantly scrolling up and down to see if I have everything. It should enable you to press on an item and a strike will go through the item so you know you have it or a check list on the side and you can tick each item you get.

  • Please help fix this app

Hi team, please fix this app... my wife and I do the challenge and it is really hard to do the shopping list for female and male as we don’t eat seafood. So everything we have to swap from main stream to veg option. It would be good if we can chose each day the option for mainstream or vegetarian or even certain meals and the app should be smart enough to amend the shopping list. Just see the app called “28bysamwood” you can choose the weeks meal by male n female n then choose each meal if you want let’s say mainstream or veg option and then it automatically draws up your recipe list for you,,, you app does not do that so each week I sit down and write all the ingredients for breakfast lunch diner snacks for male with mainstream and then switch to veg option then I have to go to the female selection and write down all the ingredients and qty for that + you guys do cups and grams then switch to kilos etc can you be consistent.. it’s hard to buy for make 4 cups of spinach from coles in Australia then I have to check out the females cups which is 1 1/2 cups like how much do I buy 1 bag. Also you repeat some breakfast during the week but you have only 1 serving per day put the serving qty as 2 you do that for lunch and dinners why not breakfast. Cmon guys pick up your game in the app world

  • Could be much much better

The audio on the videos don’t work. The photos of the meals aren’t actually photos of the meals (just something a little similar but not the same off the net). You can’t just choose the date you want to go to if you want to say repeat a detox week, you have to scroll back 60 times. You can’t swap meals for another day if you don’t like what’s on offer. The recipe and shopping lists use different units of meals. Eg 1kg of broccoli and 1 cup of broccoli. You can’t say how many people you are shopping for if you want to multiple things for other members of the family for just some meals. There are so many ways in which this app could be better. It feels a little lazy for the size of the audience F45 have engaged. Not user centric. This said, if you can put up with all of this, the challenge itself and the community of support (In the studio, not on the app) is great!

  • Great but could be better

Love the apps recipe library, shopping list and daily meal plans. Could improve the app by:
    - having the recipes smaller so it fits in one screen (ie you don’t have to scroll and can easily screenshot the recipe so refer to without data)
    - the ability to save/favourite your favourite recipes in the recipe library
    - the shopping list: it defaults back for the current week. Annoying when you’re referring to it for the next week
    - having food measurements in grams and not cups which is not specific and open to massive interpretation. Also the shopping list quantities don’t easily marry up with the recipes so, for example, you buy 2 bags of spinach for the week and one recipe says 2 cups, but it’s vague so you need to refer to all the other meals in the week to figure out how much spinach you need to save for future meals
    - the ability to more easily switch between male and female so that if you’re cooking with the other person, it’s easier to figure out the different quantities

  • Calling all vegetarians! And Experimenters...

If you are having trouble with menus reverting to mainstream all you have to do is select Vegetarian on the full website and it will stick on the app. I work for a Bank and it’s not too often people realise that the apps are a branch from a website, it’s difficult for the app to override the very thing it’s derived from . Anyway Love love love this app, have completed 3 challenges now, on to my 4th . Completed Both Vegetarian component and mainstream. Such an incredible tool if you have the motivation just to start ! You’ll soon get into a rhythm to keep at it for he fill term l. Also for recipes that use food which serves as a ‘Detox’ or ‘Shred’ phase - They’ve done it spot on because it’s frickin delicious 😋
