Good but too expensive...

Exactly what I’ve been looking for
This app allows me to keep up with the plants that are in my garden and where they are located. You can input as much or as little information that you want for each plant.Spongebob lover
Excellent app, just what I was looking for
I was looking for something very specific for making a journal of my gardening activities and Gardenize comes very close to what I was looking for and hopefully it will continue to improve in the areas that don’t quite meet my needs yet.
One cosmetic change that would be good for example would be: orientation mode - switching to landscape in ipad for instance when turning the device from portrait.
I wish it would remember that I choose a particular camera each time I photo and not ask me everytime - this could be a device OS issue but I am sure there is a method to do this.
I see that gps coordinates are coming, and that would be a great enhancement.
An overall map of the garden where the areas and plants are located in relation to the gps position would be good, not sure exactly how that would work... but the idea of an overall perspective may be missing from the lists of plants, areas, and events.

It’s got a good range of info you can imput about the plants the only things I would add is a fields for adding the family, Genus, changing seeding to propagation due to not all plants seeding along with more soil types or changing that to a input field as people might use a lot do different media for there plants
But even with these thinsg missing this is the app I have chosen to catalogue all our plants with my poor memory and my mums brain I jerky it’s the perfect way to remeber the names of the 100’s of plants in our careShow lessEllieTheLostBuck

I am so much more organised in my garden, now. I am able to keep up with important dates as well as keep notes of what has worked and what hasn’t. I like how easy it is to tie plants in with different areas and different events.
I do however resent being constantly asked to pay for PLUS when I already have it. Please fix.Show lessCrackedChelle33

Love this app as it offers a quick and easy way for me to note and reference plants in my yard. Before I discovered Gardenize I tried tracking by drawing and spreadsheets, but I love the ease of use and fingertip availability. Just started using the app to track everything for gardening this year. Was looking for an easy way to document starting seeds, success and failures to planning and planting in the spring.
This App appears to have everything the amateur green thumb needs. Plus I can now document the soil conditions and hopefully increase the productivity of my small urban garden.Show lessRandallAllen

Got the free app on my iPhone because it looked promising. After entering info on my profile, discovered the app wouldn’t let me make any changes to some settings it created by default. Contacted company and was informed I could not make any changes unless I paid. What the heck? How is that part of a “free” app? But they offered access to the desktop PC version for awhile so I could discover what it could do if I paid for the program. What I discovered was that the desktop version is also difficult to navigate and doesn’t even sync with its phone app counterpart. Good grief. I spent all that time setting up a garden template on my phone — but can’t see any of it on my PC version of the program. Forget this.Show lessHrWng
