Very good app:)

Itโ€™s a good app. Its definitely helped make reading notes on the page easier. I especially love the timer that forces you to choose the correct note QUICKLY.
My only complaint is that when I wanted to change the buttons to actual piano notes, a simple change, I had to pay $2.00 in order to have that as an option. The money paid opens all of the other options in the app, but I really only needed one.

Itโ€™s okkkk

I love the app however Iโ€™m only a beginner and i play flute I just think on the levels like 1-10 it should be a bit easier to get stars thatโ€™s the only thing I thing u should change other wise I really love the app I hope this was helpful.

Good but inaccurate rating system

The app itself is excellent. Fluid, easy to use, and teaches note reading well. However, the rating system for accuracy is entirely wrong. It doesnโ€™t give any accurate judgement of note reading at the end of lessons. I tested the theory numerous times, with varying levels of success in my note reading for my own judgement purposes, but every time I completed a lesson, it would say โ€œ100% of notesโ€ when I did not get 100% of the notes correct. I intentionally got less than 50% a few times and it said the same thing. For this app to be worth paying for, the rating system needs to be accurate, because this app is for education purposes, but no one is actually learning anything if it isn't giving accurate results to judge where your successes and struggles lie.

Excellent App

This is my first time learning to play the piano. This app is the best program I have found to learn how to read notes. I love it because it has great standards in place. It times your performance and you cannot move on until you master the lesson with at least one star.
Thank you to the Team that created a program that is so helpful.
Itโ€™s great for children and adults!

Amazing help with note memorization

I love this app so far! It is simple and easy to use and combines the sounds with the sight of the note. I love that it does only a few at a time and then adds them on so itโ€™s not too overwhelming.
One suggestion I have for the creator (if possible) it would be so nice if the organization of the sets changed every so often. Sometimes Iโ€™ll be stuck on a particularly difficult one for me, and then Iโ€™m afraid that Iโ€™m more memorizing the organization of the collection of notes than what each individual note looks like. I think switching the order of them would help with this๐Ÿ˜Š
Thanks so much for the wonderful app!

Simple but effective tool for learning to sight read

Made an effort to learn to read music with the long term aim to be able to sight read.

I started from knowing absolutely nothing and after using this app everyday, 10mins a day for about a couple of months, I have seen immense improvements in my note recognition and responsiveness.

This app will take you through a gradual journey increasing in the number of notes tested and decreasing duration to respond over time.

Only suggestion is to be able to test flat/sharp notes.

Highly recommended if you want to learn to sight read.

Read notes

This is the best app for people because you learn to read notes.

Great great app!!

When I was younger I played a lot of rhythm based games (ddr, rock band, guitar hero) so I knew I could learn to sight read if there was just some type of interactive learning that started you off easy and moved along with you while providing some sort of feedback. This app does just that. I would have easily paid over 20 dollars for this type of interactive learning so the 1.99 is criminal bargain. I am not the type that writes reviews but this really deserved it, great job! I am still in the early stages of learning and but I am really hammering down information. I will update this review as I go through the app.

Easy, quick, and kind of fun

Iโ€™m surprised with how quick this app is helping me. Itโ€™s only been one day and Iโ€™m already building a decent visual memory with one octave. The game is kind of fun too. Itโ€™s not really exciting, but itโ€™s about as good as I can imagine for learning to read music. It was a quick and easy decision for me to buy the extra features since the method is working so fast. Download the app and see for yourself.

5 Star App but Minus 2 for this

I imagine most people like me have a midi keyboard that doesn't actually play sound itself. Instead we plug it into our computer and utilize various emulators or synths. I really love this app and use it a lot, but the microphone feature does not work for me using a digital piano and even more unfortunately is that when I plug my midi keyboard into my iPhone the app disables the sound for some reason. This should be at the very least an option. I want so bad to use my midi keyboard but it's a little awkward when in using that feature at my keyboard and their nothing but the sound of me pressing the keys. All in all it really is a 5 stars app, just frustratingly not for me as I've progressed.
