I downloaded and played the free version, but I got to a specific part and the app started crashing. I took my chances and paid $7.99 for the “Premium” version and found it to literally have the same issues as the unpaid version AND I had to restart from the beginning. At least in the free version I could watch ads to increase my payout for some missions. But now that I defeated the “Telltale Tongue” and it started giving me messages about a “Ghost Ship” the app has started crashing again. VERY frustrating!!!!! I’m really disappointed that I one wasted my time with the free version, and wasted my money with the paid version, and now find that its wasted my time as well!!! I LOVE this game, but until the bugs are fixed, I’m giving it a 1 star.

I love pirate games and I got this game a few days ago and couldn’t stop playing it. It’s great for mobile and would be great for any other consle to I believe. Mechanics are great, but sometimes when your fighting white or sword if you tap the screen it goes away and I don’t know how to equip it again. It does it randomly. Beside that on e flaw great game!

Great game and a good new update but there are some things to fix like the 3rd person perspective. That got worse and I don’t know what happened to the guns, they just don’t work as well as before anymore. That also got worse. But other than that everything else is good. Naval combat got a lot better. One thing though talking about naval combat is when you get a good hit on an enemy ship you can’t use the crystals when the cut scene goes on. But all in all pretty sick game.
. . . but some frustrations - you can’t change the difficulty setting, for example (there is a drop down menu but it resets to ‘medium’ after you change). A few other quirks like this that, if fixed, could make this a great game.

Thank you for your understanding! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this game. There’s always something new to do, with many factions and quests, ships to buy, and sea monsters to find. Quality has improved significantly since I started playing years ago. A minor issue: text sometimes disappears before I have a chance to read it, so I could really use a log of some sort.
Unfortunately, I believe the DLC is not worth the money in its current form. Land battles are nearly impossible because my captain dies after 2-3 hits. The only possible strategy is a prolonged hit-and-run, which is no fun and still fails if I get shot by an enemy I can’t even see. Many of the new quests (especially Emperor’s Daughter) are blocked by impossible land battles. And the Pirate City just doesn’t really add anything to the rest of the game. Hope the developer will fix these issues, because the core game is a masterpiece.

Hello! To complete land missions, please moor your ship near the island, so the team could fire from the boat, also upgrade your captain and use shelters while running to camp. Also, you can heal near the campfire (when there's no one around). We hope that helps!Buy the free version then the “full version” DLC, it often gets updates 1-2 months faster making this version feel somewhat ignored
A really good open world sailing game! Trade, fight, pirate, or privateer it’s up to you. A good game.
