I am tempted to give a lower score, bing currently annoyed by the DLCs, but that would not be fair. It is a very good base game, and. Have gotten hours of enjoyment out of it.
Sadly, the DLCs do not really seem very well-thought-out and are not similar to the base game. The land quests are just a bad idea. Melee combat is not very deep, already, and the DLCs add a LOT of melee, land combat.
I don’t want to spend 5 minutes running through boring, procedurally generated jungle, doing nothing but running, only to then die in combat with a camp of 20 enemies shooting at me (especially since mobile controls are imprecise and clunky). Why would a pirate captain with a giant battleship full of battle-hardened crew be trying to heroically take out camps of enemies all by himself anyway?
If the DLC had added more quests like the lengthy “legend” quests in the main game, a new faction, and basically just a new map with quests comparable to the other maps, it would have been perfect.
PS. Also, who thought it was a good idea to make all of the artifacts and high level items you spent hours acquiring easily buyable in the new DLC? After I spend hours following a long chain of missions to get a fancy artifact, I don’t want to roll up into the DLC towns and see it just sitting there, for sale.Show lessAkelaSeeonee

This is a great game but can you all make an update where sea monsters attack randomly please, I have played this game for a month now and it is really fun, but I have never seen a boss and I think it would be a really better game if you all could fix thatTdawgdaboss12
Amazing game, iOS version is a let down.
I previously bought this game on PC and really enjoyed it, so when I saw it in the App Store I bought it without hesitation. Unfortunately, it's really been dumbed down for iOS. For example, the tutorial storyline is much shorter and the controls have been greatly simplified. Given the nature of mobile gaming, that's understandable, if disappointing. Sadly the same can't be said for the lack of support for either keyboard or mFi controller. There was absolutely no reason for the developers to leave out this functionality and it really hurts gameplay on a larger devices such as the iPad Pro, where this game had the most potential to shine.Show less[Polecat]

So I forgot to say this in my last review I wanted to say that can you make it so you can make a fleet. Like you can use ships you bought or caught to fix up then make them follow you and you can have 1-4 ships following your ship like how trade ships do. And you can can paint them like you do will your main ships and this don’t cost you real money 💰. Thanks

I know for a fact I’ve had this game in the past and played it a fair amount. I was checking the App Store for new games and this one popped up, but with a $7.99 price tag. Thinking it was a game I haven’t played before, I bought it, and was enjoying it until I realized that I’ve played it before but didnt know how if I just had to pay for it to reinstall. I play similar titles on PC but I can’t take that to work or in the car. I can take my iPad, however, which is awesome because the hour I’ve played thus far of Tempest has been so much fun! There’s a little learning curve but it’s understandable to grasp the concept fairly quickly. The game doesn’t seem to be too much of a battery sucker on an iPad Air 2 which is a definite positive! I took a day from the game and I had made significant progress in the game and i went into the game and it had restored one of my earliest saves so if you can get on that issue that would great but for now I’m kinda angry because of this and again I enter the app later and it loads my earliest savepickles999👾

Hey really love the game. I just bought the Pirate City dlc and i have acouple of questions about it. First is which island is mine ive been all over the maps and cannot seem to find it. If you could include like a littlw tag on the map saying your island that would be awesome.rdthdjas
