Horrible software product
I have warned everybody about this company/product/app. Save yourself the headache and do not purchase their products. We had the defender for about a year and always used the application to check on our property when we’re away. All of a sudden, the app stopped working and we couldn’t add/view our devices on our phones anymore, making the app useless. We call customer service they were no help!Show lessNativeCincy
Works Great
I just set the unit up with 3 cameras and they all worked great plus the app. You just need to close the app after every use and then starts extremely quickly. Live and recorded videos works great.ReKingRe
Does not work
Whenever I set my device up and press save it just stays on connecting and never actually connects, extremely disappointed after i spent over $400 on this system and cannot even view it from my phone.Slayer1666
App & iPhone memory
Not happy with this app anymore. Now I have to close the app and reopen to get it to work every time I want to use it. Support said I don’t have enough memory on my phone. This has only been an issue for the past couple of months. I’d be willing to bet it is being caused by a software update to the app. I’ve had zero problems with any other apps. I’m using an iPhone 6plus with 128g of space. NOT COOL!!Show lesstreehstn

App keeps telling me notice the certificate for this device is invalid worked fine till last nightwloop

App is no longer working
It has been working fine for the 3 years that I have been using. Only yesterday, I couldn’t login to the app anymore. A notice would pop up saying “certificate for this server is invalid..”. Please resolve this issue.E M Nathan
2 years of great use
Up until 2020 came along....what happened? Unfortunately the App is unreliable now with “failed to connect to device” 95% of the time.Cyrusszeevirus
Updates got everything working again!
Update! Been a year but the App updated, new phone (iPhone 11) and everything works again!! Back to just like when I first got the system set up! Love it again! I loved this security system/app for about a year! Then one day the notifications for motion alerts don’t come through on my phone. I can hear the notification sound, but nothing ever shows on the screen. I’ve made sure everything is up to date. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. Tried to adjust a few settings. Nothing fixes it. I will change my review if their is a fix!Show lessChmb2004
