  • Absolutely the worst support

    I have had these cameras for well over a year and they had a very good support system, and after the initial set up they were fine. Now their support system is very poor at best. I changed my modem and for some reason the system will only show live shots and absolutely NO motion alerts. When I call defender the only answer I get is to try gmail. NOTHING ELSE. So now I have cameras there essentially only good for live view!
    So what good are they to me?????

  • Not a good security service

    We have our defender security for 4 years and we have use the service for twice and they let us pay for it. For what is the monthly payment?. The video quality is bad the service is horrible and the app doesnt work well. Im just creating my new account but it always says password incorrect. Service hotline will not help you to reset any of the passwords or what ever they just wanna rob your money

  • Working well....

    I had used version 2.3 for a long time and did an upgrade to 2.5...but the upgrade did not work. I contacted the developer and they fixed the errors in the newer version 2.6. Now, everything works great. Thanks to the software developers for paying attention to the needs of the consumers and providing and program that is truly excellent. I am VERY pleased with the newest update.

  • iPad app finally fixed

    Ver 2.6 fixes iPad crash at login. This was not an iOS 13 compatibility problem, it was a bug introduced in app ver 2.5 that affected iPads on all iOS versions, including iOS 9 on my wall-mounted iPad used for viewing my camera system. It took over 30 days to get a fix for this. While working now, this was the nail in the coffin as far as I’m concerned. Mac OS viewing is no longer supported (requires a PC running Windows) and due to lack of testing the iPad app and a huge delay in solving this problem, I have decided to replace my Defender HD system with one from a competitor.

  • Issues playing back

    I’ve had these cameras and system for a few years now. I have had numerous issues with the play back feature. The latest is the ongoing issue of trying to open the app and it just disconnects. This has been going on for I’ve a month. I contacted customer service and they said they were aware of the issue and are working to fix it. It is an issue on my laptop and iPad but not on my phone. It’s pretty frustrating when I’m away and need to check on things. It seems to happen when Apple does an iOS update but that’s just my observation. When the system works it’s good but this is the 3rd or 4th time in the 3 years since I installed it.

  • Best camera system and app for the $

    This is my 3rd app and camera system. This app works perfectly 99.9% of the time. I’m super happy with it. I have a property 1400 miles away that I monitor daily and it comes in clear and works great. I highly recommend.

    Defender need to provide fix. The defender app has worked fine on iPad Pro and Mini since the last IOS update. the app crashes on when you log in. Have deleted and added still having issue. When will this be addressed
  • Still up in the air on how I feel

    We got the camera system and set it up very happy with the quality of the pictures and wide angle view not so happy that the app is not up to date plus tec Suppot is non existent tye only way you get heil is through email I have been trouble shooting my 4 cameras for a little over 5 months now I boost the Internet i have moved the box my car recently got vandalized and the camera was out again when they work it is a great system but when they don't it is a issue
