So so since I gave a bad review about this game as a professional player this game is one big scam big lie because my review now I’m losing every game no matter what we do I’m playing am all this since I gave the review it’s funny so far I lost 36 games with no chance of winning zero and I’m a professional player so you wanna tell me that this game is not one big lie how come the second you’re purchasing you’re losing everything every game I let you feel 99% that you’re going to rain and last second you losing the other opponent getting 17 doubles in a row it’s amazing the guys think about it before you’re buying anything or purchasing any coins my advice don’t don’t I’m not gonna take of the review until they gonna stop and make it a real game an honest game like this we gonna have fun playing I don’t mind to lose but I want it on his laws and an honest win so fix it and it’s OK you can put me in the losing team it’s fine I only want the closing over here with you guys this appShow lessfeom a pro
Shame on you
I started to play this game years ago ,it was good at first but when I spend 20$ at first time the dice been disaster, just see robot players whom control the dice ,and their are no random dice as you claim ,believe me you are make us laugh when you respond that ,then spend another 25$ and it getting more (some times make me furious cuz it’s absolutely impossible to happened ) ,besides I lose the connection but my internet was fine when I played the 500k games it’s happened many times,, then continued to spend more and more and it’s getting more until last time 100$, I just win few times the magical win to my opponents continued two days without any win ,then lost everything& I was planned to purchasing again with another 100$ but play just one day with free coins &gifts but was the same ,no even one win with controlled dice ,then canceled the purchase and the playing this game ,,by the way I’m at level 106 & 52%winning at my profile, but that happens after my first purchase, so it was good game but you turn it to dirty business, My advice, enjoy to play normally and don’t spend a dollor ,it’s trapShow lessno fakn name

I’ve been playing this app for awhile. It has beautiful graphics but totally same game all the time. If there are real people playing on this app it’s hard to tell with the heavy handed bots controlling every aspect of the game. The bots try to destroy you with exact rolls and then you get typically blocked and have only one move. It is the MOST UNREALISTIC backgammon game out there. Find a friend to play with instead of using this app. I think often of the game developers and wonder if they are trying to get people to hate backgammon? It seems they are intent on creating a negative experience when you just want to play a few games to unwind. How can you unwind when you are entering into a unfair game from the start? I finally figured out that actually they are all bots with a real person playing once in awhile. No one wants to play a unfair game to have fun. I mean that’s the point right? The point is to have fun and improve your game? How can you do that when the game already knows it’s next move. So my advice, identify the bots and let people know when they are playing the machine. I feel like I’m playing the same game every time I can predict their moves cause it’s just like the last game. THIS GAME COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER BUT it’s not. The house always wins. Look I just want to play and it’s not fun to watch a bot play while you get no moves. Is that the intent?Show lessLucinda89

Why do you allow people to cheat on this game I get very frustrated with this they pause the game an get the combo they want they pause the game an rigg the dice so you can get the random roll that keeps you blocked out 5 roils in a row they also can pause the game an kick you off the table during mid game an you lose like you’ve been gammoned it’s not fair try to devise a program to block the cheating out please ! Correct this flaw in the game .
update: someone has definitely hacked into the program please look into this I’ve lost over 500,000 coins to this method I love the game too much to not play but this point I’m making needs to be addressed I get frozen an booted off mid game an lose my table stakes I hate that an it counts as a gammoned how can I recoup my losses ? These malakas idiots are crooks trying to steal money, data & your time as well as enjoyment of the ancient game. I enjoy defeating their algorithm & little fixes dice rolls. Am a highly ranked international backgammon player and this is designed & developed with many strange bells & whistles to distract & destroy your confidence in fair play. Avoid the timer lies & first mover advantage always given to ai robot players posing as real…these bots are designed to continuously behave as a time cheating opponent …it steals your money and uses gamer type psychology algorithms to hack your payment method. All games should not charge you to play…there is no clear doubling cube as in normal backgammon which can be played for points like rice grains! Try Mancala which is more complex yet satisfying without phony fake pseudo “random’ dice rolls. This backgammon doesn’t offer Nardo or other versions of backgammon teaching proper style strategy tactics & techniques to build understanding for new players! Also the chat room emojis are childish immature & do not promote proper game etiquette (e.g. ‘good game’ ‘lucky roll’ ‘excellent move’ ‘u got me’ ‘wish the dice 🎲 🎲 were in your favor’ ‘sorry’ ‘thanks’)Show less1yreve3R💎⚜️💠

Many people write about the randomness of the dice. I don't know about that. Without data, that can be very hard know and easy to be subjective about. The real problem is the rake on this game. Rake is the percentage of the pot that the house takes when you win. On the $8,000 table it is 15%! That is an insanely high percentage. A rake that high makes it very difficult to be profitable in this game. You have to play people who are much worse than you. This is a fact, not an opinion. Consider how much you have in the pot and double it to get the total. Now compare that amount with what you win. $8,000 X 2 - $16,000. When you win, you get $13,600. Anyone who knows anything about gambling will tell you that is a game you can't win in the long run against similar opponents. So play for fun, but do not buy chips! If you can't win with free chips you are just going to lose your money.Show lesseneely
Found a passion that was taken away
Found a passion in this game and enjoyed playing it on my breaks at work or waiting in long lines . I liked that it had challenges and diversity to the game . Of course the numerous pop up ads were annoying but the game itself is fun and enjoyable . However I had reached a high level with over 20 k and lots of money and I log on today and it restarted my whole game , no trace of my past account . The app support button doesn’t work so I’m writing it in a review . And when I try to connect to Facebook or apple thinking it’ll reload my past data it does not even connect and said there’s an issue connecting . I’m very frustrated to have put time into this game and now all my data is just lost . If not for this event this game would’ve gotten 4 stars . If maybe 5…. This game stole my coins
I had been participating in one of their album collecting events for days (you VERY randomly collect cards during play, once you get enough cards in a collection you can collect the allocated coins. It takes forever and is not an easy thing to do (as they so rarely distribute the cards). Before I went to bed last night, the game clearly said there was over 24 hours left in the event. When I woke up this morning, it was all of a sudden over. I had been waiting to turn in the last joker card I played so hard to win (in hopes of using it for a better option to collect more coins). The group that was ready to go had roughly $750,000. So, in essence, the game stole $750,000 in coins from me. A event should NEVER end prior to the CLEARLY stated duration time listed. That is extremely unethical. Why would it do that? I even reached out to them to let them know what happened assuming they would recognize their error and provide me with the coins…but no. This on top of dealing with their faulty algorithm for the dice rolls (that are so unrealistic, it takes all of the fun out of playing the game). I highly recommend finding another backgammon app to play. This one will leave you more irritated and frustrated than its worth.Show lessSeah873

Lord of the Board provides players from around the world with an authentic backgammon experience by randomly matching them with different opponents and using a random number generator (RNG) on our dice. Therefore each game’s result is unpredictable and depends solely on the luck of the dice and each players’ skills. Enjoy the game and feel free to contact us at any time🤩Trash rolls. I guarantee you that your first 10 or so games you will crush. Then you’ll start to notice the absurd change in luck. You’ll notice your opponent rolling double 6s at an outstanding statistical anomaly. I am writing this after losing 3 games in a row that I was more than 20 pips ahead. Then all 3 of my opponents magically rolled double 6s in 2 out of 5 rolls. All 3 opponents. Either I just witnessed a 1 in 279 million occurrence or the dice generator is absolutely rigged. Since I haven’t won the lottery twice this month I’m gonna say trash dice generator. Save your time and download any other backgammon game.
Edit. Just gave it another shot. I was just beaten because my opponent rolled 4 doubles in a row to come from way behind. I have played backgammon for 20+ years in real life and have seen 4 doubles back to back all 4 or higher never. Not once in my life. But this app and it’s awful “random” dice I have witnessed 2 statistical miracles this week.Show lessHerby850
Weird Randomization and so many pop ups…
Everything the other players have said regarding the randomization is absolutely true. I actually tried this game for swagbucks credits but only got to lv. 22 before I got so tired of the weird dice randomization. Almost always without fail, when stuck waiting to get my checker back in I’d roll a double 6 which is usually already populated at the start. The enemy (or even me) would roll constant doubles. It’s absurd.
Next annoyance is the constant popups you get at launch. One or two is par for the course for mobile games, but it’s literally 6-7 pop ups encouraging you to buy their bonuses. You press the x six times and then a “watch an ad for coins” offer comes up with the x (or in its case, ‘no thanks’) at the veeerrry bottom so you end up watching an ad for 30s by trying to x out the offers and get to the game.
These issues were so exhausting and unpalatable that I decided the $10 worth of credits for getting to lv 35 wasn’t freakin worth it and uninstalled due to its ~*lead randomization algorithm*~ and obnoxious pop ups.Show lessbirbitto
