Do not pay for a subscription to this app. Since I downloaded it 4 days ago , I have had to change password every time to access it.
I e mailed them to cancel, filled in the online contact form numerous times, still no reply after 4 days.

This is a new app so will I am sure improve with time. Covers topics well in addition to customer letters etc.

Glitches
When working it is a super easy app. But over the past week I have been unable to get past the picture of a
pro independence gathering. I have phoned the help desk; Temporarily restored for 1 day. I am now reduced to deleting and reinstalling app every morning before it can be used. I am getting really annoyed with that picture ๐๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

Supplements now available
As of today, 2nd Feb, the Supplements are now available. Click "Paper" and at the top of the next screen there are now 2 headings - The National and Supplements. Click on the one you want to see.
Absence of the Seven Days Sunday supplement
I can access the paper and not the digital version nor does the the Seven Days supplement appear. This supplement is the most important part of the Sunday edition of the National with itโs in-depth articles, reviews and comments. What has gone wrong?
Supplements in the new app
New app is different, maybe not much better in terms of functionality but lack of access to new and saved supplements, including โSeven Daysโ is unacceptable. Fire the testing team!
Iโll give them a month to fix it before I cancel my sub
The latest release introduces a lot of features which could make this excellent (although I preferred just having the paper rendered - so long at the editors remembers to upload it).
This has an article per page reading (good) but the onward links go back to the web (bad)
But worst is the newspaper rendering. For a start much of the contents is missing (e.g all the Sunday extra content). And then you try to read and discover that it fits the view to the shortest dimension (so you have to zoom in to part of the page). You cannot zoom out and so you have to move the page around. This makes following page wrapping articles tiresome (at best) and destroys any ability to dip in to the paper.
There is a handy โfeedbackโ but it all goes unanswered.

Something has gone wrong with new app
Over the past week I have had trouble accessing my account via the app and unable to read the digital edition. I rectified it last week with a change of password but this morning I have lost access once again to the new updated app, my saved password in keychain is not accepted yet it works on the national website?

LACK OF SUPPORT
My subscription did not automatically renew and I have been unable to restore it. Technical support have been unable to advise how to restore it. I would like to renew and support the National, but they are being let down by the lack of support.
Disappointing
I was hoping the articles would be formatted for my phone, like most news apps. Instead itโs basically just the actual newspaper but in a PDF viewer
