Can’t log in
Not able to log in to app without having to reset my password every time. Will cancel subscription as a result. Subscription staff could only send me links to how to manage password in iOS keychain which wasn’t helpful.

As a previous reviewer pointed out it is essentially a PDF reader.
I know The National is ‘the’ pro independence newspaper but honestly it’s obsessive now, just constant.
Try and cover a bit more, I subscribed for a year and to be honest I read other titles available to me first before The National as its almost predictable.
Keep up the fight by all means but.............

Great catch up
I was away down in England visiting family and the shops where I was sold only a couple of papers and really wanted to read the article about the oil worth 45 years ago and so on, was able to use this app to subscribe for the week and catch up, getting access to other prints. Very simple but easy to use.

Not awful, not awesome.
It’s good to get the content but this needs to do more than just display the page layouts as used in the paper version - at the moment it’s no more than a glorified PDF reader.
This really becomes a problem when a story is split across two pages.
In its current form, I won’t be renewing my subscription. Pity.

Can’t log in
I am a long term digital subscriber and recently downloaded this app on getting a new phone, but the app doesn’t recognise my email and password (used on browser).
Surely I don’t have to subscribe another time to access the app?

Can't Login to subscription in app
I have an online subscription which works fine on Safari browser but can't login through the app. Support aren't able to resolve the problem, so it's not working for me.
Long awaited..
Simple to use and a much welcome move for this critical publication. My only gripe to date with the National has been the difficulty in accessing online - now resolved. Many thanks all round for this timely update.

Well done on launching The National in App format. I've been a subscriber to the digital edition for some time and first impressions of the App are great - a one stop click via the app and I can now read quicker and it's more user friendly too. Well done and bring on Indyref 2!!
