  • Ux and uI is sooo good!

As a 47 year old who doesn’t want to spend hours learning a camera software, I found the user ability very good! Give it a shot!
  • Knocked out my recorded Audio?

Hello - how do I restore my audio? Created an entire video - heard the audio the whole time, then it all vanished and I can't seem to get it back even after rebooting the app and phone.
  • Great app. Terrible support.

Love the app. But they have the worst support. Have been emailing support for almost 2 years because it does not work with DJI Osmo. They never reply or reply with one line responses. If you plan to use with gimble you can forget it.
  • Tremendous

Most epic camera app I've ever seen!! Thank you to developers at Spark Camera!! 📸❤️
  • Too many pop ups

The app is useful. I like being able to record and then delete it without it being stored in my phone and having to go back and delete a bunch of videos where I’ve messed up a word.
So I find it very useful in that sense compared to using the built in video app on my phone.

although you can record past 60 seconds it will not allow you to download past 60 seconds so it’s a complete waste of your time and honestly the app just stop you at 60 seconds but instead it allows you to record so that way they can give you a pop-up when you try and download it to get you to purchase.
I don’t love it but I get it.

The reason why I give it three stars though is that no matter what every single time when I open the app in order to record I am first given a pop-up about paying for the pro subscription fees.

    It’s completely obnoxious.
Once in a while I get it but every single time I open the app it makes me wanna delete the app.

  • Greenhorn

I am probably a greenhorn when it comes to the video editors. This review is focused on that fact. If you are experienced with two or more other production apps for posting short video content on social media, this app may not have features that suit you. These might be overlays, masking, higher level of title and text controls, such as animated or active morphing, or photo and video manipulation, such as exposure and integrated color retouching. To be clear, the preset color filters are many and super easy to view by swiping the screen to pan thru the entire set while not changing your window. The text, duration, recorder and added sound controls, and clip features are fabulous for their easy access and control. No pull downs, no hidden features and the app has a unassuming help feature that does its job. If you are looking for a fast editor that doesn't tie you up with tons of toggles and selections, this app is great. Movie clips around within the movie stream: easy and fast! You don't any mysteries about the flow. I can see this getting better because these people were thinking "user-friendly" more than complex. It does what's it is supposed to do; produce good movies short and sweet.

  • Fix this please

I love Spark. Have had it for a long time. Latest update broke it on my IPad Air 2. App opens in some weird zoomed-in off-centered configuration and was functionally unusable. (My iPhone XR and Air 4 still work.) I discovered on closing it out of background, restarting, that it behaved normally. But if this had been my first time loading I would have deleted it as not working. Please fix!

  • Not Working

It’s an absolute mess on iPad. Buttons and pretty much everything on the screen is glitched, and I can’t see what I’m doing due to the placement of everything. I deleted the app out of frustration after a few tries to fix the problem.

If it’s going to be available on iPad, it should at least be USABLE on iPad.

  • Handy but not quite as good as hoped

I’ve tried this out recently on the recommendation of a really good marketer.

It’s partly delivered on the promise of being able to record only when you have something to say and then stopping when you take your thumb off the button.

It’s got a pretty interface which is nice but not critical.

What I am less impressed with
    - editing clips is easy but not highly practical. Seems there is no way to pause a clip while editing
    - you have to subscribe to paid version to be able by I export over 60 seconds

So if you want to do something super simple or love it enough to pay maybe it’s worth it.

For simple videos shot on my iPhone I’m probably going back to iMovie. A little bit more cumbersome to assemble the clips but better editing and it’s free with my phone.
Sorry spark camera. You asked for a review, you got one!
