  • Love the game!

This game is extremely fun and I am enjoying it a lot. The biggest issue is that the game is a huge money dump, where the $5 option only gives you 100 crystals, if you want to keep playing the game at higher levels you have to sink a lot of money into the game. I understand the developers want to make money, but they need to make it cheaper if they want people to get hooked and stay engaged.

*edit* I posted this before learning how the daily challenges scale, the daily rewards make up for the real life cost of of the crystals if you can be patient. I still feel like the shop prices are a bit steep, but it seems more honest now that I feel like the daily challenges help. Changed rating to 5 stars. Great game.

  • Way To Hard plus WAY To unfair matching

So I’ve been playing this game for a few days or so at 1st it was easy and simple but it got so challenging to the point to where I cannot make any coins at all and loss after loss I decided the game was a waste of time so please make alternate ways to make coins/credits because it’s impossible to make any if your not good at this type of stuff the building part was pretty fun which I enjoy but it was just way to hard and I consider it a waste of time to play a round and lose plus waiting half an hour for your ship to be ! repaired and today I was a lv 11 earlier and a was being put up against lv 12 ships! That’s a level above me I talked to my friends about it and they agreed they game sucked I mean I’m a level 13 and I was matched against a level 14! He used mines against my ship this game is VERY unfair and is terrible at matching! It puts a higher level than me against me and when I lose I make NO credits at all so what’s the point of playing the game if I can’t play it! I hope this can be fixed but this game is getting 1 star until this is all fixed and the devs better not put down some copy and paste “Oh we are very sorry you hate our game thanks for your opinion!” This game was so fun at 1st and the matching fairness RUINED this game and the devs don’t do ANYTHING to fix it after all these bad reviews they just don’t care or do anything to fix it I consider this game a waste of time and money until they fix this

  • A shame, pay to win

Conceptually, a very cool game, taking some interesting concepts around ship building, balance and luck, but unfortunately let down by the ridiculous pay to win hockey stick.

If your ship dies, you have to wait to repair. This is a few seconds for the smaller ships, but quickly ramps up to 10 minutes for a level 8 ship. Highest level is 50, what’s the wait time then, months?

Realistically, you won’t get any of the huge awesome ships shown in the adverts unless you pay extortionate amounts of real money for quick repairs or ship upgrades, or alternatively play the game for about 10 years. Uninstalled after about an hour of gameplay

Hello! Could you please specify what makes you think that this game is P2W? Do you have a problem to progress with a ship or face a more leveled up opponents?
  • Ideas

The games has been wonderful and the designers have put so much great work in to this game along with a lot of cool new features. If I could suggest anything I would suggest four new ones. The first and foremost for me is the ability in the main scene when you choose which ship to fight with I wish to be able to shift the arrangements around. My OCD constantly makes me wish to organize the ships but I could only do so if I sold and rebought them. Second is I wish for an ability to see my own ship’s stats like can been see when fighting and enemy so I can compare saved load outs to one another and other enemy ships and right not the numbers are fairly arbitrary to me and likely most beginners. Next speaking about saved ship load outs I wonder if you could have simulated battles between different saved load outs of a ship style as to compare and contrast how to optimize a build like is shielding or more weapons is more efficient in terms of space and energy. Finally the last and least needed but likely the most interesting a sand box mode. Basic box ships. Me as the player and configure a ship in this mode with as many boxes as I want in any configuration as long as each separate part as and a spot for thrust like other multi ship attackers. You can fight other people ship designs within 5 square up and down or so.

  • Loving It But A Suggested Addition

I’m absolutely loving this game, I have yet to run into any major walls that I didn’t overcome rather quickly with a change of my strategy. I have suggested it to a few friends.

My biggest suggestion is a “Targeting Preference.”
By this I mean by tapping a certain weapon and selecting what it prefers to shoot at. I like to use a lot of Vulcan turrets, and I am encountering an issue with ships that have multiple smaller ships follow it. I would love to have a few guns set to “prefer” targeting those secondary ships, and that’s what I mean. Maybe they can also target certain block types, like armor over internals, or engines over armor. But mostly I just want to be able to have some target between “primary” ships and “secondary” ships. Thank you! (This is definitely not a deal breaking issue, I’m still loving the game. I just want maximum DAKKA)

  • Rank issues

I never rate a game when it first asks with the pop ups because it’s not enough time. The number one flaw is the game play when I lose a match I get wait time and lose 1 point ranking......when I win a match I gain 4 to 10 rankings up. This forces you to go against higher level ships fairly fast. To get experience and credits to buy upgrades you need wins to progress. When you lose and your staring at 15 to 20 minute wait times that’s when the game mechanics kick in with buy this ship. Fun at first and then you rank up fast and have to face ships way above your level. I’m looking at ratings 2 years ago and can clearly tell this is not something they want to resolve. To summarize I would say the following. Fun at first, rank up way to fast and are facing opponents way out of your league. Game mechanics kick in to sell you ships. Buy the ship increase rank fast get stuck again. Game mechanics rinse and repeat.

  • Used to be exactly, then they got greedy :(

I used to love this game when I played it a couple of years ago. I got to level 50 through a mixture of hard grind, premium currency (crystals) generating ad watching, and occasional purchases. The game was fun and wholly possible to do well without masses accounts of cash - yes, premium currency helped, but it was well balanced and the amount you needed to do well was affordable.

Returning to the game recently, from what I can tell, they appear to have added on all kinds ship upgrades, but they essentially all require masses of premium currency. The special offers are jaw dropping - seriously, any time a game offers you a $350 “deal”, you know it’s lost it’s way. And sadly, that is true for the game designers here.

Why do bad things happen to what used to be good games? Come on devs, stop being greedy. Ironically, I spent money on this game when it felt like reasonable amounts made a difference. Now I won’t.

  • not bad

The pictures and videos shown above are things you won’t get until way farther into the game, so that’s a little misleading. You’ll start out with tiny ships that can hold about 1-2 guns.

it’s enjoyable but too many adverts, fair enough for a free game I suppose.

Everyone uses the “warp drive” (teleports your ship)
Which is kind of annoying because it feels less like a space dog fight and more like “who can get a cheap volley off from behind first”
Which definitely detracts from the enjoyment, seeing them so constantly makes it seem like no other engine is worth using.

Upgrades for modules are meaningless, Very expensive for +0.01 bonus, for example. Like, seriously? (0.0anything, literal has no meaningful impact, and you’ll change your ship to a better one before you upgrade it to a decent number)
If you were to put real money in you could probably get things to a decent level but then it just becomes pay to win

  • I see your true colours

Fun game at first but when you lose a battle you have to wait for ages to play again. This is how they get you to buy stuff; by speeding up repairs. The better your ship the longer you have to wait, or the more you have to pay. There’s a paywall on just about every aspect of this game. It would be well worth paying, say, $10 for unlimited access. But not $70 for what amounts to about a day’s worth of credits if playing a moderate amount.

Hello! Don't forget that you can get 3 free repairs by watching an ad.
  • Paid ships deleted

I bought 2 ships and accidentally replaced them now I can’t find them anywhere, what’s the point of selling a ship if you can’t keep it indefinitely
