Extremely pay to win
Was a great game till the developers got greedy! I started years ago and this was a fun for the most part balanced game to kill time but intro to all this relics extremely op heroes for outrageous prices and all you have to do is spend to win just literally played three games after not really playing for about a year and all three were against an overly overpowered opponent three research teirs higher and I stood no chance at all unless I spend a crap load of money to have relics that may help me win since I don’t spend enough money on this game Don’t bother the community for this game is less then decent people if you ask a legitimate question you get ridiculed till you stop trying to understand the game better DEVELOPERS ARE NO BETTER NEVER GET A REAL RESPONSE ABOUT HOW RESEARCH STAT BONUSES WORK IF! Had issues trying to figure why a player two tiers lower can destroy a 5 star morale army with at least 200 more troops and less then basic relics
Edit developers are so greedy they have pop up ads more than any other pay to win game I’ve played I mean you get two for 100$ heroes before you can even do anything on the main screen plus they pop up to buy their battle pass promising better items but unless you buy the ultra premium items you can’t get ahead

We won't do such destructive updates anymore. Though specific that one was essential to balance the game progression. Also upcoming updates would be focused on new content and features first. And lastly skill always is more important than upgrades in our game. You can search for youtube videos to learn how to play better. Cheers
Fun game, but…
I’ll start by saying that this is a very fun rts game. It’s not perfect, but it kills time, has a fun campaign and pvp matches are cool too when it’s a ‘balanced’ game. Having said that, there are two things that I cannot stand that are going to make me delete the game eventually. 1) the trophies/awards for winning/losing a pvp match is absolute garbage. I really hope a dev can hop on here and explain to me how I win like 8 matches in a row, only winning an accumulative of 12 trophies, but then I lose ONE match and lose 15 trophies? I don’t know what coding you guys are using to balance this, but it takes one step forward, two steps back to a whole new level. If it wasn’t already bad enough, check this one out. I played a pvp match against a random, and I lose 8 trophies and they gain 15. I jump into the next PvP and it’s the same person! What are the chances?! But then I won the second match. I gained ONE trophy and they lost NONE. Devs, how is this possible??????? 2) pay to win, just like everyone else is saying. It kills me when I have to face a PvP with someone that has the special skins and the fully upgraded character. I just love it when they have no strategy and I sent 80 minions against 30 and yet they still manage to defend. This game used to be one of my favorites, but it’s slowly getting tiresome and disheartening to play when I have a 72% win ratio but can’t accumulate any trophies.

Hello. The rewards are calculated based on hero rating difference not general rating score. If you play with a hero with high rating score you'll get less points for wins and lose more if you lose the match.
Massive let down, pay to win aspect has completely ruined multiplayer.
Been a massive fan of this game for years, downloaded the app to play after not using it for a long time and I couldn’t regain my progress so started from scratch, didn’t mind this at first as I love the game. Turns out starting from scratch is the worst thing you can do as you are completely useless against the new weapons (which you buy), the better heroes (which you buy) and the permanent passive skill tree (which you can also buy). After restarting the game and playing it for a few weeks I’ve decided to give up as it will take months or years to be close to competitive, this is because I’m deciding not to spend £100 at a time to upgrade some characters. This is unbelievably disappointing because the game itself is really good and as I’ve said I have been a fan for years, but the current state is unplayable if you don’t have a good starting point with heroes and weapons etc. Honestly it baffles me how they can try and charge £100 for a mobile game character… it’s laughable. To top that off you wouldn’t even be able to use this character very much because you would need to pay more to upgrade their abilities, buy them weapons and pay to recharge their abilities if you don’t buy the recurring membership! This is a horrendous state for a mobile game, couldn’t be any more unsatisfied.

Worst matchmaking ever
Overall this is a pretty good game. Paid for the additional campaign which I really enjoyed. But when it comes to PVP on this game your in for a big shock! 8 times out of 10 you will be matched against players vastly superior to you with not even a slim chance of winning. I’m talking you’re level 1 or 2 pitted against level 4 or 5 maxed out stat players. Just takes all the fun out of the game when you have no chance at all. I get playing ‘slightly’ stronger players than you as that’s a challenge but at least winning is possible. Currently.. up against these you have no chance at all. Stopped playing as much as I used to now campaign is complete

Broken Matchmaking
When I first downloaded the game, I really enjoyed it. Even the constant bombardment of ads and offers was tolerable because I enjoyed the gameplay.
After winning some games and trying to tackle the progression system, I realized it was going to be a grind. Still fine, as long as it’s fair. The problem is that it’s not fair. I’m currently working on tier 3 upgrades, which makes me competitive with other people on that same tier. Tiers higher than you have every statistical advantage over you. I even conquered people above me in tier occasionally, but now I’m stuck fighting people on tier 5. Once you get here, the game is absolutely unenjoyable.. unless you pay a couple hundred $ to advance your characters to a competitive level. I spent about a quarter of that and realized this problem wouldn’t go away.
Even rats quit playing games with each other if they lose more than 70% of the time.

This is a great game!
You can play 5 missions for free, then they ask for $12? No from me. Oh, but you can unlock 5 more missions with 3 multiplayer wins? Cool. Come to find out you can pay for chests that upgrade your character and skills? No from me, again. Cool game, but greedy developers created a pay to win game and I wish I could support you and buy all 4 campaigns and play every single level… but I don’t like the mindset, so it’s a nope all around. I’ll keep the game downloaded just in case campaign goes on sale more, but there’s absolutely no reason to play multiplayer if it’s P2W so that’s still a huge no.
Edit to dev response: when a Free to Play player plays multiplayer and is greeted by a Pay to Win solution I lose interest. It’s not about not being able to play and demolish more people (completely demolished and trolled my only 2 matches), it’s about playing and someone spending money to advance to get the advantage over someone. That’s toxic.

Hello. We understand that you may be reluctant to pay for single player campaign in the game, but you can always play multiplayer mode for free. In-app purchases are totally optional and you can upgrade your abilities and unlock new heroes without paying money though it may take up some time.

This game used to be fun and challenging for all. Until they introduced people that clearly cheat. I have been playing this game for two years and have upgraded everything there is to be upgraded in the game. Needless to say, there are still players in this game that have somehow managed to work the system and their guys move actoss the board so fast, that it it not possible for them to do so. Example, I have been playing and I am good mind you, and I still have a rate of 67%. This is at 370 games I have played and counting. Then there are guys who have only played 40 games or even 36 games and now they have faster perks then everyone and they also have a 97% win rate. It is merely impossible to do so as well as how their gameplay looks in the game. These people have cheated so bad that they make it know by havingtheir name out there as “Hacked” or “I Cheat”. Sad to see such a good game go right out the toilet and the developers have been none to little help to make things right or stop this from happening! This is where I draw the line in the sand as it will make you nuts seeing all this cheating that is going on in this game 🤦♂️🤷♂️

Wonderful strategy game
I have been playing off and in from past couple of years. I have started playing again and it is soo interesting and addictive that i have bought all 4 seasons again on a new account. I don’t know about everyones choice but if you like strategy games then this is the one for you.
Fun & poor balance
This game is a lot of fun. It has poor balance. This means that even though it’s fun, there are aspects to this game that need improvement, and adjustment. For instance, when you are in team matches, when your teammate leaves, you don’t gain control of their units, they become blank, why? When your ally dies they still can use abilities, if they stay in the game, so when they leave, you should gain access to their abilities to remain in the game, because often times you have to forfeit a match if your partner exits in the middle of a match. There are characters who’s abilities really are basically repackaged identical abilities as others, and some abilities really they got lazy and had no creativity . The games worst trait is how heavily reliant upon spending to gain , if you do not have thousands of dollars to spend and like winning, this isn’t the game for you.

Pay to play
This is by far the most pay to play game I’ve ever seen and I enjoy supercell games. Absolutely ridiculous and not worth your time. You’ll get sucked in with the fun for the first month then realize you will never ever compete without paying premium every month for almost $40 a month. Go elsewhere this is a prime example of developers getting greedy.
Since writing this the developer can commented on my review and said that non premium players can still win it just takes more effort and experience. Well in my experience I went from an 82% win rate before I started playing against all the pay to play people then I was winning one in 6-8 games. Of course you CAN still win but when the odds are ALWAYS way against you in a stupid phone game, why bother. I repeat my above statement. Don’t waste your time even downloading this game even the “campaign” costs money after the first few levels. I’ve never seen greedier devs.
The developers have since “responded” again with the exact same message minus one of the spelling errors. What a collaboration of morons.
