Just from downloading it and setting everything up this looks like the start to a great app and a great companion on the water. I kayak fish a lot so being able to log my trips is going to be great. My biggest complaint is the lack of company's listed for rods reels and baits. Everything listed is fresh water or fly fishing i would definitely rate this app 5 stars if they gave an option to enter your own brand of rod and reel. I fish almost exclusively penn rods and reels and penn is not even an Option to select. I hope this is addressed in an update soon.
