A word about the company’s customer service which is and has been first class the few times I needed them for my questions.

Also people use this for cats so fix your marketing.
Complete garbage.
So I decide to return my device.. obviously I have to cancel my subscription since I don’t have the device. I’ve been trying to cancel for over 2 weeks and customer service WILL NOT do it... no matter how much I beg. Guess who got charged for another month? :) ME! Don’t use this app and enter your card. You won’t be able to cancel.

Love RV Pet Safety
I like that it works without WiFi.
We will be using it to monitor our Adirondack vacation home. I was paying about $50 per month for very basic phone service to operate our freez alert.
The RV Pete Safety totally replaces the freez alert. We are saving big $$ with the RV Pete Safety.
I highly recommend this product. BTW, this is the first review I have ever submitted.

Great way to protect pets in RVs
We depend on this device!
The app itself is very easy to use. I’ve set and adjusted low/high temps as needed, and sometimes turn off alerts when it is warm outside but we are home. I also turn off alerts when the device is not in use because it is relentless in alerting to battery power and low battery until it dies which seemed to be days. All good stuff I want to happen, but appreciate the ability to control in known situations.
Not a problem with the device but rather the reality of cell coverage — if the cell signal is very very low then updates/alerts might not happen as expected. It’s easy to see in the app when the last update was received so you would know if there are delays.
I also use the app to monitor the temperature in my rig when I am home so I know at what temp it really starts “feeling hot”. This has allowed me to set the alert temp so that we have time to return home before it actually gets too hot. It’s a matter of working with the device and app inside your rig to set the temps that work best for you. Very easy and minimal effort.
No video, not advertised to support video (webcam). However, being able to monitor the temp is enough and allows me to relax knowing the dogs are safe.
