Peace of mind

The temperature pet monitor has provided us with a overwhelming sense of security while camping with our two best friends Snickers and Lucy Lou. Our camper had only one air conditioner and being that it’s a lightweight travel trailer and mostly camp in Florida and other states during the summer Waggle pet monitor is invaluable.

A word about the company’s customer service which is and has been first class the few times I needed them for my questions.

Not great

Please stop adding bloat to the app and ad something useful like the ability to see temps on a graph. I shouldn’t have to check the app ever few minutes to see how the temp is trending. Consider adding alarms for quick changes in temp that could indicate a problem. Also a snooze for the threshold temp that resets to 5 degrees higher. It’s like I have to chose between a preferred temp range or a critical temp range....
Also people use this for cats so fix your marketing.

Complete garbage.

First off: the device doesn’t work. I have sent photos to their staff about the temperature being extremely off and then my device continued to say my RV “lost power” about every hour (which was not accurate)

So I decide to return my device.. obviously I have to cancel my subscription since I don’t have the device. I’ve been trying to cancel for over 2 weeks and customer service WILL NOT do it... no matter how much I beg. Guess who got charged for another month? :) ME! Don’t use this app and enter your card. You won’t be able to cancel.

Awesome product!

I’ve been using the Nimble for three weeks now and can’t say enough good things about it. Super easy to set up and the app has worked flawlessly. Feel so much better about leaving the pups in the Motorhome...knowing I can get back quickly should the power go out unexpectedly.

Great device and app

We have used for several years to protect pets in RV. Has always worked great. Support is also exceptional. I had started a device activation but stopped. Support call me to ask if I needed assistance with the activation. No company does that. Usually you have to call them multiple times. Great service.

Love RV Pet Safety

I bought the RV Pet Safety to use in my Synergy Motor Home to help protect our dog. It worked great as long as you have phone service.
I like that it works without WiFi.
We will be using it to monitor our Adirondack vacation home. I was paying about $50 per month for very basic phone service to operate our freez alert.
The RV Pete Safety totally replaces the freez alert. We are saving big $$ with the RV Pete Safety.
I highly recommend this product. BTW, this is the first review I have ever submitted.

Great Service Not just for Pets!

I seldom do reviews. However this product deserves one. I purchased my first RV in 1971. Over the years electrical failures have been a concern. Not just for the pets but also the property. Many food items lost etc. I’ve had inverter failures, park power failures, blown circuit breakers and generator failures to name a few. We also had pets. We’ve used this product for about 6 months and it has notified us of two power outages and one air conditioning failure. We can be away for long periods with no worries. We no longer have pets due to allergies but will continue to use this service for peace of mind. App needs improvement on renewal process. I had to call the last time. This should be easy. But for its purpose it is great!

Version 7 upgrade locked me out of my account

The upgrade locked me out and the password reset function doesn’t work. Very unhappy right now. I hope to get a quick response since my subscription is currently worthless. Product is great when it works.

Great way to protect pets in RVs

We bought this app and the associated monitoring unit in Spring, 2018 for a 13,000 km trip, much of it in the southern US, from California to North Carolina. We were worried about exposing our small dog to high temperatures, and boy, was it hot. The unit is small, well built and easy to use: it’s based on a commercial unit used in walk-in freezers and refrigerated trucks. It connected us automatically to cell networks across Canada and the US as we travelled. Your annual subscription fee pays for that cell service. If the temp in the vehicle goes above or below the threshold you set, it begins firing off text messages and/or emails to warn you. Bonus in winter: if you leave your vehicle outside in the cold and plugged in, you can call the app up and get a reading of the temperature in your RV as well as ensure that the interior power is on, since the app shows whether the unit’s rechargeable battery, which only lasts 24 hours, is charging from shore power. I have found that outdoor GFI outlets can sometimes trip unexpectedly, and I enjoy being able to use this as confirmation that shore power is live, rather than find out potentially weeks later that my house batteries are dead.

We depend on this device!

First a comment on the Nimble device: It did in fact alert is to high temps when power was out in our campground. We returned immediately to the campground to deal with the problem and keep our dogs safe. That is exactly why we bought it.

The app itself is very easy to use. I’ve set and adjusted low/high temps as needed, and sometimes turn off alerts when it is warm outside but we are home. I also turn off alerts when the device is not in use because it is relentless in alerting to battery power and low battery until it dies which seemed to be days. All good stuff I want to happen, but appreciate the ability to control in known situations.

Not a problem with the device but rather the reality of cell coverage — if the cell signal is very very low then updates/alerts might not happen as expected. It’s easy to see in the app when the last update was received so you would know if there are delays.

I also use the app to monitor the temperature in my rig when I am home so I know at what temp it really starts “feeling hot”. This has allowed me to set the alert temp so that we have time to return home before it actually gets too hot. It’s a matter of working with the device and app inside your rig to set the temps that work best for you. Very easy and minimal effort.

No video, not advertised to support video (webcam). However, being able to monitor the temp is enough and allows me to relax knowing the dogs are safe.
