Not ready for market
Just got my Loop and started figuring it out. As has been mentioned:
-You can’t delete photos once you have added them!
-You can’t delete Videochat channels once you have added them!
-If you delete your photo channels but there is still a Videochat channel, it endlessly “loops” trying to activate the channel and call you, over and over and over.
-Can’t add photos from you iPhone library via the regular iOS share pathway. The feature is actually there but it doesn’t work. You get weird grey screens in your channel that don’t sync the photo to the device.
-Touch top is not useful, don’t like it.
-Many stated features simply are not present, period. No voice control. No gesture control.
-Instagram updates EVERY 24 HOURS!!
I have wanted a product like this for a long time, the concept is so good and I wonder if the product will ever live up to the concept.
Now I need to return mine but....You can’t reset the Loop! (The button in the app to reset the thing literally doesn’t work!)
LITERALLY THE BUTTON TO RESET THE DEVICE DOES NOT WORK! Now what??glnickname
The wait was worth it
We have 3 Loops and the grandparents love it. Now I'm able to easily share photos with my Mom and get her to stop nagging about photos of the grandkids.randomdrive
