  • Program helped me get back to smoking

    I was 32 years smoke free. This program allowed me to reconnect with my stress and take up smoking. After completing the 12 month lesson plans, I was able to fight the urge to smoke again.
  • A new outlook on stopping the smoke

    You know - I have tried many times to quit smoking over the past 20 years... and each time I went back to it. Always fighting the urges and sometimes smelling someone light one up and just being like - OH YEAH THAT’S WHAT I WANT... caving into my no smoking success just a few weeks into what I felt was non-smoking success. After caving in - feeling shameful and guilty and just saying to hell with it all and going right back to it like I never stopped. Sometimes even worse than before!! It was like fighting the urge was SO SO HARD ... and the fight seemed to cause me even More STRESS and anxiety than it was worth ... and was just mentally exhausting and physically unfulfilling.

    So then - I get introduced to this 2Morrow app through a work program for medical insurance. Skeptical to say the least given the massive failures of my past. But hey - it was free to me to use and would save me a monthly surcharge for being a smoker. Bonus!

    Here I am almost 2 months later and feeling great! My morning smoker’s cough is gone - I spend more time with friends and family - have more time to do things as I have freed up 3-4 hours A DAY of time I used to spend just sitting outside smoking and drinking coffee. I have started getting to know other non-smoking coworkers better and realizing what great people I work with who I have barely known as breaks and lunches would be spent outside - alone - smoking...

    Realizing that I don’t have to FIGHT the urges anymore and that just acknowledging the urge - using new skills and tools provided in this app to help the urge disappear in a minutes..... well that part... as simple as it sounds... is a key component to my personal quit-smoking success.

    Now I’m not saying this is perfect. It’s a lot of learning how to be honest with yourself - holding yourself accountable by tracking and paying attention to your feelings and urges and what is going on around you when these urges occur ... helping you understand that just because an urge is present does not mean you’re in for a fight - it means the time has presented itself to maybe take a look at what is going on around you - maybe what is going on inside you... and acknowledging it — maybe even shake hands with it as you learn to say bon voyage to the urges

    I dunno - maybe it’s just me being so excited to finally have been introduced to something that seems to be working while not making my stress and anxiety levels sky rocket.

    I highly recommend this app. Go into it with an open mind and give it honest effort. It’s right at your fingertips!

    Great tool to learn a little about what the triggers are. And some helpful ways to get over the cravings.
  • Saved my life

    I started this as a “requirement” for insurance purposes. Yet as I actually went thru lessons and added notes and REALLY tried the things the lessons taught it was a great motivator! I would go back and re-read many “favorites” and still do. The weight part of the app seems more geared towards “overweight” ppl. Where I’m way under weight that would be my sole complaint of the app! Still deserves 5 stars tho. Just think the weight app should be geared for those if us wanting to gain weight ALSO.

    If I had a dollar for every time I thought about smoking, I would be a rich woman. I started Chantix and had already stopped smoking but the lessons and support of my coach has helped me remain smoke free. These lessons and notes from my coach are tools that will follow me for the rest of my life and I am very grateful.

    I had already started chantix and had already quit smoking, but there were many things in this app that was mentally helpful. Glad I took the time to go through all the steps and read the info that was provided. I use some of it several times a day. Thank you again!
